The biggest improvements aside from the game's lighting is definitely the rock formations.

As you may remember, the rocks were one of the first types of surface where SCS were showing the updated lighting for 1.40 update. Before that, the rocks could be too shiny .

Also, I noticed that SCS continue to put «dummy» traffic lights above the pedestrian crossings in reworked German and Swiss cities — unlike the «normal» ones on the actual intersections, they have permanent green light in dimmed color. Several of them could be seen in previous reworked German cities and somewhere in Spain.

I found a massive secret area in Switzerland!! It's pretty cool and now I see where a lot of the Christmas Wonderland assets came from.

The wide-angle mirrors always give a boost to the stars in reflection.

Finished my Swizterland WoT event last night.  Tonight I go to Nebraska!  But then i will have to go back and explore all the maps after both WoT events are complete.

Also, they have a short teaser on their Xwitter — looks like the updated Volvo FH have finally found its way to ETS, and Mack Pinnacle is going to ATS as well. Not sure what this «soon» means, but I hope it will be the next two weeks.

Finished the WoT event in ETS2.  Headed to ATS next.  Really nice scenery in Switzerland and the Rhine.

It was not mentioned in any blog post and dev log, but I noticed SCS snuck in an minor update to the Utah State Flag in the game.  The flag is now Utah's new state flag in the map exploration menu.

For me, the new flag is definitely better than a «blue rectangle with something in the center», which most of the present states have . But of course, the flags of California, Arizona or NM are still more distinctive .

Oh, those shadows on the teaser video were symbolizing not the trucks .

JCB Equipment cargo DLC is here!

Both JCB excavator and backhoe loader are the stuff I see on my streets every day . As with Volvo cargo pack released almost three years ago, the price is cut by a half if you buy it as a bundle for both games. But for me, that cargo DLC was a little more interesting — the tiny excavators and dumpsters are less cool that a big articulated truck or the big tires.

PS. Anyway, I still believe that two new trucks will be added soon. Not in a couple of weeks, but likely before version 1.51 release.
