It's about time!  AGE OF EMPIRES 4 TRAILER REVEALED!

How many years have we waited for a new AoE game?!

Also confirmed, NO MIRCOTRANSACTIONS!

About time! :D  I didn't hear about this.  I guess it got buried because of their bad timing to release they were going to have a new game the same day they released their HD versions of AoE II!

SCS plans to rework some French cities now too!  Just like they are doing with German cities (https://blog.scssoft.com/2020/02/ets2-137-rework-of-french-cities.html).

I'd say it's a more casual game or simulation game, but it can fit into strategy too.

Evil Genius 2.  I am looking forward to this silly game.  The first one was good so long ago.

It is being made by Rebellion Developments with a release sometime in 2020.

"Looking for a fun wacky simulator game? Why not keep tabs on Evil Genius 2, a simulator where you’re the mastermind evil genius who is building up a new lair. Players will select their paradise location and start construction of a lair while training henchmen to do your bidding. As you train your henchmen and keep tabs on your daily tasks to avoid any potential spies that may pop up, your overall goal is to build up a doomsday device with an attempt to conquer the entire world.
There will be four different evil geniuses to pick from as you start your campaign and each will have their own unique story narrative. Likewise, you’ll find a variety of henchmen to hire and build-up, though we’re still waiting to see what changes have been made to the overall game since the original installment released back in 2004. Currently, Evil Genius 2 is a PC only video game title which is due to launch at some point in 2020.

New dev blog from the creators of HUMANKIND.  I am really interested in this game.  I love Age of Empires and Civilization games... this company will be trying to make their own mark with this game.

It looks very promising so far.

I am shocked how silent it has been for Humankind and Age of Empires.  I want to hear more about these games, but there has been NOTHING.

Civilization VI is still pushing out new expansions though.

Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition Has Been Rated By ESRB, Expected To Be Announced Soon

Article (https://segmentnext.com/2020/07/24/age-empires-3-definitive-edition-rated-esrb/)

The latest of the remastered Age of Empires games, Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition, has now been given a rating by the ESRB. Much like its previous entries, the game has been rated T for Teen for Mild Blood and Mild Violence. There’s no word on the game’s release date, though.

Age of Empires 3 takes a little bit of a leap from the original Age of Empires games. The game takes place during the Enlightenment era as the major powers of Europe begin to colonize North America, rather than being like previous games such as Age of Empires’s ancient civilizations or the Middle Ages in Age of Empires 2.

The game also included a pair of expansion packs, one dealing with the Native American tribes that would encounter the settlers, and the other giving us three Asian civilizations in the form of Japan, China, and India. Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition will likely give us all of the game’s content.

Along with all of that, we can most likely expect upgraded visuals, including resolution and framerate on par with the Definitive Editions of Age of Empires and Age of Empires 2. We may even be getting some new content, again, much like the other remastered games did.

While there’s no telling exactly what that content will be, it’s likely that developer Forgotten Empires will be working on it just as much after the game releases sometime this year. Since the game was announced all the way back in 2017, hopefully they’ve had plenty of time.

There’s no official release date for the Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition, but hopefully since the game has gotten a rating by the ESRB (which you can find here, along with the explanation), an actual release date won’t be much farther behind. Either way, the game will be releasing exclusively on the PC whenever it does come out.

Age Of Empire 2: Definitive Edition Is Having A New Expansion With Additional Civilizations And Campaigns

Article (https://happygamer.com/age-of-empire-2-definitive-edition-is-having-a-new-expansion-with-additional-civilizations-and-campaigns-97837/)

After the launch of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition last year, most thought that would have been the end of the road for the title. Besides, remasters hardly get in the way of post-launch content.

Well, recently, developer Forgotten Empires and Microsoft are working on something exciting, as they’ve just unveiled a full expansion for Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, titled Lords of the West.

In this new expansion, there are two additional civilizations, the Burgundians and Sicilians and also equipped with three new voiced campaigns in which players can decide to take on the roles of the Dukes of Burgundy, Edward Longshanks, and more.

Also, players will get the chance to experience 16 new achievements.

2 Newly Added Civilizations

3 New, Fully Voiced Campaigns

Civilization VI has a new civ to play as. Vietnam!! I believe it's first appearance in the series.

Also the latest DLC, Gathering Storm, is only $9.99 for a little bit!  On Steam. Regular price is $39.

An older game I really enjoy, possibly my favorite and easiest RTS to pick up and play is the game RUSE.  I wish people had it so I could play it with them.

Moved your thing to the right topic.  @RainySunshine

Anyone ever play "World In Conflict?"  It's an older game, but I keep hearing it's one of the best RTS's out there.  If you've played it, is it worth buying and playing in 2023?

Yes it is very much worth a play.  One of the best RTS's ever and an incredible story.  Buy the upgraded game that includes the American and Soviet storylines.  Fantastic game.

Steam no longer has it for sale so you are stuck with Amazon or GOG.

WiC is a great game!  It's aged like a fine wine.
