I swear it seems like we just welcomed 2025.  And now we are about to close the year down again.  Time is flying guys!

Yep, in less than a month we will be in 2026. :o

Louisiana feels TINY.  Like it's truly small.  We are starting to feel the tiny size of the scaling in my opinion.  I like it and they have some weird road networks.  But I do love Nordic Horizons.  It's size and scale is perfect.

So, this time it took 19 deliveries for 6140 miles to discover the 81% of a new state. Also, I already have two full garages there — it’s funny, but the proportion is valid even here ;D. NH are 1.5 times more expensive than Louisiana, have roughly 1.6 times more roads to drive (despite the overall map size is much bigger), and I have bought 1.5 more garages and vehicles during my exploration tour.
Anyway, I like the ETS map expansion more — just as the previous two years as well ;D. Six years ago, Utah and Washington were more impressive than the Road to the Black Sea, while Idaho and Colorado gave some bigger variety of landscapes than Iberia had. But ETS DLCs from 2023 and 2024 had definitely more beautiful scenery than four flat states added to ATS at that time. Even if I like the masterfully done ports (with huge gas tankers!), swampy and coastal areas of Louisiana, the mountains and coastal part of Norway impresses me more.

As for the next map expansions, I believe British Columbia has a good chance to overshine Iceland and Ireland.

^ Lol! The California Raisins?  No, I don't remember that. ;D

I watched the old Frosty the Snowman.  The movie with Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, the stop motion one.  I also watched the animated Grinch movie and the SNow-mizer/Heat-miser movies!  Those are key Christmas movies of my childhood. :D

Now I'm trying to go through one christmas movie/special a night....Just watched the Star Wars holiday special tonight.

Is that just the cutesy fun family ones, or are we counting the horror holiday movies and specials too?  Perhaps I should do a special post or blog on a few of my favorites there.  Because, let's face it, about two, two-and-a-half weeks in I start to notice how much got-dang alike these films are after awhile. They start to bleed together. Christy Carlson Romano , I love you, doll, believe me, but you've done, like three Hallmark Christmas movies in as many years. I worry you may burn out on the holly-jollies. I think I've talked before about hearing the same song in several different holiday offerings in a row.  Yes; here it is.  I miss the Christmas cartoon specials we used to have when I was young. For example, anyone remember the California Raisins?

I still sing this old hymn this way after close to forty years, thanks to those big plump purple musical fruits.

I drove into Missouri.  Ready to drive into Louisiana tonight!

I am loving Nordic Horizons.  I'd say I've explored about 40%, all in the south. Still moving north.

So green... and so flat ;D.
I believe SD and BC promise to be much much more interesting.
