And Thursday would be it's Saturday. Quite literally, when I was a kid--CBS would show four hours of cartoons on Thanksgiving morning. It was the proverbial excretion to be able to watch shows like Muppet Babies, Pee-Wee's Playhouse, Mighty Mouse, and Teen Wolf in the middle of the week. In the days before streaming and the YouTube, this once-yearly treat made us young tykes feel special indeed.

We don't have many Thanksgiving films here where I am, but around Christmas, there is always a Network that plays the Grinch or Frosty the Snowman.  The original animated ones.
