I saw that the other day.  Look forward to seeing how it turns out.  Looks like they really were proud of the city development, but showed very little of the combat.  The character leader designs don't look very good though. Look rubbery and outdated.

Civilization VII has just been teased. Fireaxis studios says more details will be revealed August 2024.  The game is planned for a 2025 release.

Civilization VII is taking a lot of inspiration from the newer game Humankind.  It has people divided, but it seems the art style is back to a more realistic Civilization V style, which is so much better looking.  Big info dump on August 20th, 2024.  Game set for a Feb 11, 2025 release.
