Just as expected ;D.
So, the full version release is probably going to happen in mid-September, which makes me expect 1.57 this year as well ;D.
Small patch — short beta test, even less than three weeks.

You can almost view 1.56 patch being in two smaller pieces.  Half is 1.56, the other half will be 1.57.

Hey, we got a DLC soon, small updates are fine.

ETS2 should have 1.56 soon too.

ETS2 1.56 is out and it added localized police sirens in seven countries that were missing them, plus now they turn on their lights and sirens when things turn sour.

I am not going to ram everyone as shown in that video, but it’s nice how developers are working on the police diversity ;D. Maybe, the railroad crossing alarms could also be different in other countries.

I never really thought about that.

Being in the USA, Canada and Mexico, our train crossings all sound and look pretty much the same.  They are universal here.  But yeah, in Europe they have different markings, sounds, etc. And countries aren't even as big as some of our states, so it's quite different everywhere you go. Same with the police sirens.

In North America, everyone uses some form of Whelen siren, and they all are universal, with many options attached.  So our law enforcement and emergency vehicles all sound the same but in Europe they are very different.  I always find it interesting when you hear an "American" siren in Europe.

So I assume 1.56 was not the "big announcement."  That means we have Thursday or Saturday as our most likely candidates for the big drop of whatever it is.

Iowa event is concluding.  It was a very long event.

Since the announcement was not today, it must be Saturday... or maybe Friday? They are running out of time.
