A
South Park episode that has aired two weeks earlier in which they did a joke about Kirk was pulled out of rotation after the news came to light. I'd like to know if this
assassin was a fan of the show... I mean, if it had been a right-winger who had targeted a prominent Democrat, and they had found a link to The Buck and Clay Show or Sean Hannity or Mark Levin on one of his devices, we'd never hear the end of it. So is this episode in his streaming queue? I'd like to know. After all, those of you here who are old enough may remember that two years after the original World Center Trade attack back in 1993, the famous
Bill Clinton phone call from Air Force One in which he blamed right-wing media for fostering anger and inspiring terrorism. His aides tried to walk it back, saying he wasn't trying to pin in on talk radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh or G. Gordon Liddy
specifically, but rather the "charged" political atmosphere in general--not that we bought it for a moment. Now, we don't even get the perfunctory, insincere apology anymore--the Ay-Oh-Cees and Jasmine Crocketts make no bones about their incendiary rhetoric and state their hate flat out. It's frightening and sick.
