I laughed because Hornbrook, CA (spelling?) is the only city that has had zero gifts and shipped from or sent to.  I am guessing it's because the game has no gift deliveries programmed for it, lol!  Poor little town!

LOL! I noticed that too.  Even hard to get to, out of the way towns have deliveries.  Hornbrook does not.

Huron has deliveries too.  I am trying to think of the smallest settlements in the game. ETS2 has mainly big towns and cities. ATS has some truly small hamlets.

Maybe when the announced reworking of California will happen, some towns will get more bases...

There is an announced reworking of California?

I only follow their blog, none of their other outlets.

There was some info either or one stream, or on a forum a couple of weeks ago, I don’t remember exactly.

I've seen people posting about it as speculation on the forum, but they've been doing that for years.

I don't know if it's been said on their streams.  I know Pavel said they would do the Germany re-work on a stream far before it was ever announced on the blog.

BTW, do you remember there was a post about rigid trucks, and some commentors keep reminding about this till now under some posts? ;D

^ yep, fans take info... even news over a decade old, as if it's gold.  Like it is still going to happen.

Fact is... sometimes ideas don't happen fanbase.  Lol

Initially LA was what SCS was most proud of with ATS when it was coming out.  They took so many photos of that location.  But now it looks so dated and they've improved so much as a company of creators.  Fans had long whined about Las Vegas and SCS delivered.  But they've been pretty hush about LA being redone to my knowledge.  I think San Diego should be redone and Oakland should be redone.

Is it a crime I still haven't seen the new additions to Las Vegas?  I just never go that way.

I have enjoyed the Germany rework, but what really needs the love is the old cities.  Those are still pretty ancient in a bad way.

SCS games were one of few things that were really good in the past year.

It was a great year for them.  They accomplished so much outside of their brand new office too.  Makes you wonder... do companies even need to pay to have these big fancy offices?

I can say my company have more than 40 workers (who works every day), and the office have about 30 workplaces, a half of which are usually vacant last months — why sit directly at your computer, when you can use it via remote access (with bigger monitors than your office desk can bear ;D)? So, I believe some companies have already turned their offices to imrovised data centres like «a room with lots of computer cases and a crew of admins on duty» or have plans to make something similar. And vacant areas of their former offices can be turned into streaming rooms!

Is it a crime I still haven't seen the new additions to Las Vegas?
The funny thing is that the main LV addition from 1.38 was made to allow you to spend less time there ;D.

Has anyone here ever played another simulator game similar to ETS2 and ATS and would recommend it?  I know there are those train sims, plane sims, even a bus sim.  Anyone ever play any?
