Hey, the school year I just finished was grueling and exhausting. I'm still recovering from it.

Oh boy....

I was at the YMCA today.
And I ran into an old friend/first boyfriend-type person. We hit it up again, chatting, just like old times (i.e. 5 years ago). My family left without me, I had my own ride so it was okay. We chatted until the end of his shift and then went out to eat and catch up. Then we went back to the Y to Pokemon hunt. And uh... That's when things got a little... Not awkward, as I kept diffusing the situation by being ditzy, clueless, and all ADHD intentionally. But yeah.... We were talking about intimate stuff casually because why not and that was chill. But as the time passed he kept getting closer. He asked me if I ever thought about doing something stupid, I said yeah, and he said he was thinking of something at the moment. I see where this is going "Oh look berries!"

At one point we were sitting on this table looking over the pond and we were laughing about how NJ has so many cities that are dangerous as fudge, and he put his arm around me. Kay... No problem ther- oh boi that's my ass.
I really didn't know what to do? I just ignored it (like a dumbass) and kept talking, then saying we should go check out the gym at the gazebo up ahead. After that I just kept us moving and walking until it was starting to get dark so I should head home. We got in his car (because the Y has a park that's down a long driveway so he was driving me back up to the main parking lot), and he asked if he should do he stupid thing he was thinking about. I felt like I knew what said stupid thing was but I acted all innocent like I didn't know what he meant and just said if he thought it was stupid then he probably shouldn't, or sleep on it. He says something about not knowing if he'd ever have the chance again. "That's a tough choice, man." He dropped me off next to my car and we said our byes.

He later texts and says he's sorry for what happened at the table. I'm confused. Is this okay to talk about here?

He was totally... wanting to do something stupid. Did you want that?  It seems like you were playing stupid, but I must admit, you were kinda lucky too he didn't like... you know.  He could have.  I mean it seems you were alone and in the dark, in his car, gazebo, away. 

I don't know if I would pursue him unless you like him enough.  But how quickly he advanced... I would be kind of wary. Does he do that with everyone maybe?  Or did he really just miss the olden times with you?  It's hard to tell.  Thanks for sharing.
