That's a question I've been asking myself for many years.

Like... does us acting a certain way around certain people actually make us who we are acting as?  Isn't that us, trying to live something we aren't?  But then through living that way, we are.

People probably think I'm high... but I wouldn't touch that crap.

No, you're just naturally ebullient. Always cheerful, a little manic at times, a touch spacey, perhaps, but kind and sweet and never said a mean word against anyone.

I can be abrasive at times, awkward, even annoying, I admit.  I never know when to turn it off.  I think people go along with my jokes and antics at first, and have fun for a while, until they realize, "Holy crap, it's not an act, he's really like this", and then they want to turn and run. Or they get mad when I use them as story fodder. The perils of loving or being related to a writer, I guess.

Thanks.  I like my description. ;)

I can tell you are a writer, even without knowing a whole lot about you.  You have a way with your words, different then most. :)
So wait, your act is not an act now? ;)  j/k Just be yourself.  You're fine.  I like you, so you got that going for you. ;)

I've read that the body takes seven years to replenishes every cell in itself over. So by my calculations by next year I'll have totally reinvented myself three times since I was a freshman in college.  Yet part of me is still that same kid who was performing whole Andrew Dice Clay routines from memory up there in the school cafeteria.   It's very strange.

Life is strange.  No one ever told us all we needed to know about it, it's not like they could.  Everyone's life is different, and part of the experience is trying to make sense of it all.  We learn from mistakes and build from positive experiences.  This whole concept of life is mysterious and strange. We try to improve ourselves, even though we are born and die in a blip.  Life is truly our biggest mystery that we still don't fully grasp.

An afterlife?  Well, people hope so and we can only have faith in that there is one if we are Christian's for example.  Or, you can believe you come back as something else, maybe a fiber in a tube sock.  Or even still, you can believe nothing, which is a faith of it's own.

I remember my childhood.  It seems so close, yet so far away.

I must say it is fun reading what you two were talking about above.  I've been sitting back reclined with both feet in a weird angle, and I am paying the price.  Both feet fell asleep... and now I can't move.... help me.

I've smacked myself trying to kill mosquitoes.   It's like a reflex-- you feel one crawling on you, and your hand reacts before you think... and it hurts.

Ew.  Sounds perfectly nasty and sweaty.  I'd prefer to come back as an underwire in a buxom lady's  brassiere... or a stitch in her knickers.     ;)
