I think Colorado earns the title of most beautiful non coastal state.... though I take that back.  Montana is pretty amazing too, and Idaho...

I think Colorado, Montana, Idaho, and Utah would all have to duke it out.

Yeah. So plain and simple in the nicest way. I can respect that.

And yes, Colorodo is really beautiful. I've visited. My friend went there to visit his GF, said it was amazing. I was going to go to college there.

Utah? Seriously?

If it weren't for that mountain range, it would be just like Kansas. It's lucky it's got that mountain range to make it look nice. (Was responding to APD, there.)

Now just pan down :p
I have an unfair bias against Utah. I don't really like it all that much. But nice mountains.

I'm gonna hate myself forever for this thought crossing my mind...
It reminded me of Cars.

Utah is brilliant in a different way.  It has mountains and forests around Salt Lake City, then it has desert nature elsewhere with arches, canyons, etc.

That was the inspiration for cars according to the artists on the old DVD I have.  The inspiration came from the valley's in Utah and Monument Valley.

And for good measure, I will cap this with some Montana.  Western Montana is the beautiful part.

What state is the one with that mountain range infront of that really pretty lake? I know it's one of the Midwestern states. It's a strange mountain range, like it just pops out outta nowhere.

If they're more impressive why aren't they called Grand :p

Midwest doesn't have any mountain ranges, LP. :-/

Because Grand stretches the longest.  But there are more spectacular ones that isn't in the eye of the public.
