Yeah, it's fine, no serious damage aside from the fences, minor leaks, and broken shingles.

We didn't hide from it at all. Like, so it was basically tornado winds, but I don't think it actually hit ground, otherwise we would have been in a very much different situation.

The storm itself didn't last too long, but it did some damage, you know?

I don't know!  Never been in a tornado!  Don't like a region that has them.  I'm really happy you guys are alright though.  Maybe a good time to plan incase of a touch down tornado on where to go and stuff.  Do you guys have a cellar or a basement?

No cellar, no basement. We've never had a tornado here.

Most sort of natural disaster goes "over" us

Averted a true disaster.  Count your blessings.  Looks like a lot of people had a rough go with the flooding.

Glad you are safe.

Sunday's "downburst" led to power outages, flooding and structural damage at the World Trade Bridge between Laredo, Texas, and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a statement. The bridge was closed to traffic until further notice.

According to an NWS storm report, the downburst had estimated winds as high as 80 mph, and the damage path was about 6 miles long. The storms were also deadly, as 14-year-old Aldo Jordani Rojas was electrocuted when he stepped into a puddle that contained a downed power line, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

Sustained winds at 80 is high, but surprisingly still not as high as a tornado or hurricane!  Amazing it caused so much damage.

I've had 80mph gusts here, but not sustained.
