I sure hope so. Yeah magic is back but what I wanna know is why did it go away?

I really hope the series can provide a good story of the mystery behind it all.  What happened between G4 and G5?  As well as provide slice of life stuff.

I want to see more of the world and see if G4 actually took place in the same universe.  For some reason I can't imagine Canterlot existing in this world of Ponyville.  The Pegasus world seemed pretty regal and Equestria seems to have disappeared as a whole.

I don't like how cheap they look in that 2D format.  If they animated well in 2D and they didn't look so blobby, it would be much better.  Weird there was no sound.

I don't know why they designed them as such.  Very unappealing.  They could have slightly modified the G4 style and given them cheeks and called it a day.

An open world, G5 game is in development!  Wow.

They included a very tame trailer for investors.  Clearly this is for kids.  But it's nice it isn't just gonna be stuck on the mobile platform and maybe people with Steam can buy this.

It will be published on May 27th, 2022.
It is currently confirmed for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Steam (PC/Mac) and Nintendo Switch. The Switch version retails for $39.99 with all other versions at $29.99.
