I imagine the sound of a small ball inside a package making a rattling sound.

Anyone noticed how MLP’s Brony fandom declined by the mid-late 2010’s?

I mean, did the show’s large culture fandom started to decline once the show started doing huge changes such as focusing more on its lore?

When a show has been on over ten years, it's natural it will start losing audience share.

Well if I recall, most people who were Bronies preferred MLP back when it was a half slice of live show with a little bit of lore before it started expanding on its lore during its later Seasons.

^ Naw.  You had people who loved it and some who didn't.  Overall, fans loved to follow the show from beginning to end.  There was a "Brony Census" every year and it grew every year with people never have a negative season of the show.

There were seasons people loved more than others, but overall MLP was loved by fans from beginning to end.

But weren't there people who lost interested in MLP as most of them loosing interest in the show was around after Season 4?

No, not at all.  Not at all.  Sure there will be people leaving all the time, but people join too.  The first feelings of the community shifting happened around season 8.  That is when we started to get rumblings of the show possibly ending.

I really started the show around season four then caught up.  I loved it all and continued being a fan through the whole rest of the series.

I do miss the peak days of this community!  It was so cool having so many people so excited about it.  The community is still very big, but it doesn't have the same energy since there is no new content outside of fan content.

Though if I recall, didn't Adventure Time started to have it's large fandom declined around when the show started to focus on lore and Star vs. The Forces of Evil became polarizing once it also started focusing on lore?

Adventure Time lost a large chunk of it's community when Cartoon Network stopped showing it on their network.  There would be months with no info, then they would randomly start showing it again.  It was awful.  So a lot of people left the community because they had no idea when the show would continue or why it had these long breaks between episodes.

Same can be said with  Steven Universe.... but that is a much more polarizing show and community as well.

But this is an MLP topic...sooooo...

With streaming, a lot of people can enjoy discovering--and rediscovering--all these great shows without being at the mercy of long waits between new episodes.  Barring episdodes banned for insensitive content, of course (happens with some live-action series; have any MLP episodes been dropped from rotation? I know there was a controversy over Derpy Hooves, and maybe those donkey jokes don't play well now since George Floyd.).

I don't think any MLP episodes have been dropped.  I can't imagine any that caused controversy.  It's such a tame show.
