I tried to calculate the weight of bulk of grain which can fit into the dryvan’s volume — so, the normal 53' Utility can take almost 86t, and the normal 45' Dryliner — almost 70t, so that numbers are not so fantastic. The only thing is a toughness of trailer’s structure .
I am terrified about the braking distance of that truck :-0. Since those reinforced trailers are almost DIY products, I doubt than the brake system is made from good components.

As for the game, some mods with that type of trailers do exist ;D. At least, existed before 1.32.

I was going through the early photos of the next DLC for ETS2.  They do look promising.  Nothing flashy yet.

But I have a legitimate question.

Are you fine with SCS's graphics or do you think they should invest in upgrading their graphics engine?

I personally don't have an issue with the graphics, even if they are dated.  I really don't care.  I just enjoy the game.  But are the graphics something that is keeping players away?  New players?

Asian Truck Simulator anyone?  ;)

I'm sure we will get there someday, but it is much harder to do since a lot of those countries aren't as developed or have Google Maps Streetview.  It would be much more straining work for SCS to have to figure things out and make routes that may not always be as certain.  Lets focus on ETS and ATS first though.

Are the graphics something that is keeping players away?  New players?

I don't think it is keeping players away.  People who like truck simulators will play it and love it.  Other simulator games such as train simulator and flight simulators have better graphics, yes.  But trains are a selected route, so easier to set up.  Microsoft has more money to spend than SCS and technology on their flight simulator.

Graphics won't keep the players who like this kind of thing away.

I am perfectly fine with a picture quality (with 4× scaling), if I had a 4k monitor, it would be even better.
My complain is about a not-as-perfect multicore processing, when your HWMonitor tells that the video card (1660 in my case) is loaded at 85-95% at peak, but the quad-core CPU (which is a bottleneck in that case) is loaded at 50-60% — so, using all CPU’s potential would probably decrease the FPS drop in cities with a lot of objects in the player’s field of view.

I am fine with the graphics.

They can work on the compression and processing.

For those who have a doubt about the picture quality in SCS’s games:
I think there is two or three weeks left, no more.

Yes, Colorado is looking superb. They could have used a ton of those snow capped mountains in the Washington, Oregon, and Utah maps.  Northern California could use them too.

So many were preaching that early on for SCS to do with Washington and Oregon.  Those states deserve the natural beauty with the snow capped mountains.  They have more snow on them all year round than Colorado!

Excellent plants, excellent buildings, excellent scenery. That sign with only one valid direction looks hilarious ;D.

I have a praise and a complaint!

First of all, that lead photo in the blog shows how much they've improved on landmarks!  That looks really nice.

Now the complaint.  I love seeing city's in the distance, but it makes me sad we can't reach them in some way. Also I can't help but notice some 2D flat buildings.  They need to try and hide that better sometimes.  But overall, a very minor complaint.

Lots of beautiful castles, villas, even lighthouses shown.  I think Iberia may very well be one of the better DLC updates for ETS2 and showcase just how far the ETS team has grown.

Don't get me wrong, I liked going into Turkey too, but the towns were so empty and void of life... they weren't busy and more compact as we entered city centers (like in real life).  They seemed too clean and perfect... if that makes sense.

BANG! Colorado map revealed.

Not for 100%, but for 85% for sure. Aside from this, there is a ride on a very scenic highway (this is where this map has spotted ;D):
