MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Greetings my friends! We are quickly descending upon the Christmas season. I know 2020 is not the year any of us expected. It's probably been quite difficult and challenging, but hopefully this community can clear your mind for a little bit and make you smile and take in the Christmas cheer! It's time to prep for the big one! The biggest holiday of the year!
What are you planning on doing this year? What do you want for Christmas? I am sure all this and more will be discussed at length here. :)
Merry Christmas friends. You know how to make the season bright and merry!
Don't forget to sign up for the Secret Santa this year if you want. Here's the link! SECRET SANTA 2020 (https://psfforum.com/index.php?topic=3422.msg417152#msg417152)! You need to sign up before Dec 10th.

And here we are! That time of year again! Nice to see you made the topic again this year, Grape. I think it might be the earliest by a few days too!
What do I want for Christmas? I want the world to calm down and the virus to be gone and destroyed.
-
Thank you and Merry Christmas early, Smiles!
-
Indeed. Tis the season. Thanksgiving is coming up first, so lets focus on that to begin with. ;D
-
I got some time off for Thanksgiving which will be very nice.
-
After hearing about all the inane rules for holiday meals and family gatherings in many places (who sings at Thanksgiving dinner?!) , I'm not sure I'm looking forward to Christmas. Although, there's talk of a covid vaccine being ready for wide release in mid-December. Still, with social distancing and guest list limits in place, I can't help but wonder if somebody's going to wind up eating their dinner out back in the doghouse this year.... ;)
-
Yeah, no family this year... Shame.
-
On another side note, I got all my Christmas shopping done today. :D I'm ahead of the ball game! :D
HOME RUN RAINBERRY!! *Does a little dance*
-
Lucky, Raine. Good job.
-
Ack! I wish I was almost done Christmas shopping! I have 90% or so left to do!
-
Stuck having to do most of my shopping online this year. I live in a place where restrictions are strict. :P
-
Am I the only one who finds online shopping kind of difficult? It's hard to know the quality of what you are buying.
-
^ It is. There are some difficulties associated with online shopping, but overall it's so much easier. ;D
-
Christmas lights and the Christmas tree are now up.
-
Same, all my Christmas stuff is up and shopping is now done. :D
-
Got a few peeps off my list!

You're a bounty hunter now? ;)
-
I kinda took Baby Yoda from Mando
-
I'm going to pretend I know what that means and nod my head slowly.
*Nods head slowly*
-
Riiiight not a lot of people watch Mandalorian
-
I know what Baby Yoda is though. I saw a Chia pet ad for one, lol.
-
Cued to start at the good speech part. It resonates with me.
-
Everyone ready for Christmas now? I am. :D
-
I so am. I’m ready to go home and see my family.

Little holiday spirit pic that’s six years old now!

That's so cute! A mistletoe sneeze! :) Thanks for sharing, @Blurr!
-
I love that comic. :D
-
I have always liked that comic too. @Erudork did a fantastic job.
-
Everyone, I am away for Christmas, so I won't be on here much. I come back the day after Xmas. Have a super Christmas everyone!
-
Happy Christmas to you too, @Silverwing , and have a safe trip!
-
Indeed. BE SAFE everyone and have a super Christmas.
-
I wish all of you a nice Christmas time - even though this year everything is different. Have a good time, take care, and stay safe!
Lots of love to all of you! <3
-
It is Christmas Eve and I thank everyone for the lovely wishes. Same to you all :D
-
It's been a tough year, but there is much to be thankful for. The President and First Lady gave a positive Christmas message for all this year.
Biden gave a speech too (https://psfforum.com/index.php?topic=53.msg426336#msg426336).
-
Happy Christmas Eve, everyone!
-
Merry Christmas Eve to you all
-
Let's all sing a Christmas song!

-
Hope everyone had a good Christmas. :)
-
Technically mine will take place next week.
-
^ Lucky! ;) You still have Christmas to look forward too.
-
And my birthday on the 30th
-
Any Christmas stories to tell?
I don't really have anything exciting to share. Just spent time at home with my loved one, and that was about it. Couldn't see family due to various world things....
-
I was alone this Christmas. Couldn't go to family.
-
^ Awww.
You all know what's part of Christmas? Blurr's birthday! Right before New Year and right after Christmas! Happy birthday @Blurr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Thank you Soda!
-
It's sad to see the Xmas decorations go down. Everything is a lot less cheerful and bright now.
-
That’s putting it lightly.
-
^ Light pun!!! :D
-
:)
In my street, the Christmas light decoration is gone too, sadly. But at least some people in my neighborhood still have some string lights and decorative stars etc. in their windows or outside their houses, so it's nice to look around on my way home from work when it's all dark outside.
As for me, I leave my little decorative lights (a red star in the living room, two red stars - but of a different design - in the kitchen, and a white snow crystal in my workroom) on the windows until the end of February, because winter is long and dark here, and I like lighting up the world a bit. :)
-
Like Kiku, I have kept a few little Christmas things up to bring me happiness when I enter my room.
I kind of want to buy those string lights and keep them in my house year round....
-
@TheBeesSneeze , definitely go ahead with it. :) I had a very nice string of lights in my former apartment I used year round, it consisted of colourful little paper balloons, but it broke eventually. I think I'll get a new one these days. :)
I like candles too, not only during the Christmas season, but especially in winter when it's dark and uncomfortable outside. :)
-
^ Good ideas! I was wondering what I could do to brighten my room. Some colorful string lights would be lovely.
But I could save so much money just buying a $4 dollar strange of Christmas lights over a $19 set of string lights, lol!
I do have candles. I have scented and non-scented ones. :) I love to light a candle and sip some tea. So relaxing at the end of the day before bed.

Oh, I love that too! ^-^
Another thing I like (sorry, I don't want to go too far OT here) is, whenever I have a quiet evening and take the time to watch a movie - which happens about every couple of weeks - I get comfortable on the sofa, turn off all the lights, and light some candles (and I keep the winter/Christmas light decoration on). It creates a special kind of atmosphere which I enjoy a lot, and it makes me really "sink into" the movie and get carried away by it. :)
Back to topic: I enjoyed doing this during the Christmas holidays too. ;)
-
I have sadly taken down my Christmas decorations, but I too like to turn down all the lights and watch a Christmas movie. :D I love that special atmosphere that only comes during the holidays. Especially if it's cold outside and warm inside and you are bundled up, cuddled up, or with someone you love. :)
-
I've done that too, Kiku. It's lovely. :D
Also I agree, RainySunshine. :D That is great too. :D Very similar.

I will do that! Thanks for the encouragement.
