One of my grannies’ homeland has a lot of wild pears which are small and bitter, so almost noone collects them — those trees are used mostly for green walls along the road
, at least they don’t break
as often as old poplars (which, in addition, pollute everything around with
their fluffed seeds, making some people to do the this-forum-related things
, when those seeds are flying).
