Found this pretty cool website if anyone is interested.  Pretty much you can listen to a bunch of radio stations around the world and it is previewed to you on a Globe much like Google Earth....  It's pretty sweet.

Sort of like IHeartRadio's more worldly cousin?

Except IHeartRadio is going bankrupt! :D

It would happen just when I discover it exists.   I always seem to be late to the party on new trends. Comes from being poor and terminally unhip.

Oh, hey, you can save and preset favorite stations on Radio Garden.  So far I have a couple of local stations bookmarked.  Maybe tomorrow I'll check out AM talk radio in other states.  Be nice to see how afternoon drive-time hosts in, say, California differ from those we have here in the South.

Well you can be early-is to Radio Garden at least!  It's been around awhile, but it's new to me.  Doubt it's hip... but I was listening to public radio in Norway for some reason, then dipped down to the Netherlands to some POP station.  Almost every country plays American music with one or two of their local songs.  The Brits have a good classic rock station or two.  Felixstowe Radio is alright....

Easter on April Fool's Day. So... what does that mean, dog poop disguised as chocolate eggs?

...No one do that, okay? That's just (bleep) disgusting.       :P

Have a great Easter everyone. :)

It is strange it landed on April Fools!  We got the short end here having two holidays on one day! I want them on different days. ;)

I thought that was weird too.  Easter is a floating holiday.  Never sure how it works actually.

Easter is a movable holiday. The earliest believers in the church wished to keep the observance of Easter correlated to the Jewish Passover. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ happened after the Passover, so followers wanted Easter always to be celebrated subsequent to the Passover. And, since the Jewish holiday calendar is based on solar and lunar cycles, each feast day is movable, with dates shifting from year to year.
