"The Fault In Our Cutie Marks" will be the the 19th episode of season 6, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
It is written by Josh Haber and Meghan McCarthy. It will premier September 10, 2016.

My SO watched in polish. Apparently (if this is the right episode I'm thinking of) griffon character is a Mary Sue. And her Sueness will be subtly deconstructed. But the way he describes it, it isn't done in the best way possible.... But I'll go in tentatively.
-
I know nothing about this episode except for what LP just said... so I guess we'll see.
-
I absolutely refuse to see this episode until Saturday. ;)
-
You mean like most people do.

Same.
We are so much alike.
-
Griffon was cute, if not a little intense.
-
Oh yeah, the episode was today.
-
Okay, this episode was really fun! I loved the new griffon, even if she could be a tad annoying, but once she calmed down, she was just very very VERY bubbly. We also got to see a bit more of the Griffonstone kingdom.
Really good episode and another good CMC episode. Scootaloo felt obliged to do what she did, and she may have overstepped her boundaries, but in the end, they were clever enough to make everything work out well. I was really pleased with today's episode. 9/10.
-
Saw it! I liked it a lot actually. :) I was surprised at how good and episode it was. It warrants a strong 8 out of 10. I enjoyed the new character, and I loved watching Twilight spazz out! That may have been a highlight. Neat to see some developing too.
Who also thought in the beginning, that that was Scootaloo's parents? I was wondering what the heck was going on?
-
Watched it! And loved it. It had a lot of cute moments. And I love cute. :D
-
It was.... crud.... it was cute and it was good. CRUD. I will give it a 8 out of 10. I like that griffon.
-
It was a nice episode to say the least. The characters were pretty good in this, and I did like Gabby, or whats-her-face, the griffon. I liked her design, she was very cute, and really helpful.
The CMC had to deal with failure, which was good to see. They better get used to it, because they don't get paid for what they do. ;) Overall it was enjoyable and I will give it an 8.
-
Haven't seen it but it sounds like it was a fun episode :) I'm glad there was an episode that was enjoyed by a lot of people.

Quite possibly one of my favorite episodes of this season. I give it a 9/10. I really liked Gabby and the CMC have grown so much, it is great to see it all! Great episode.
-
^ What a cute gif. I love the marching type songs the CMC get! Gabby was great, I loved her over the top cute design. She had a more pigeon type face, and so far every griffon we've known has had a 'G' name. Great episode and nice to see the CMC going about their usual business. 9/10.

So those parents saw a skull and bone show up their kid's butt and thought "pirate"? I would have gone for "psycho ax-murderess with 37 bodies in her crawlspace", but ... okay.
-
Isn't pirate basically the same lol.
-
Actually, not all pirates were killers. Some simply kidnapped people and held them for ransom-- a live hostage is worth far more than a dead victim. Plus a pirate gets out and has adventures at sea... those serial killers tend to be creepy loners. Her parents should be proud if their daughter chose the seafaring life... and Gabby could build her ship.
So the moral is, griffons are just miserable and surly because they haven't found their direction in life. Griffonstone is basically a broken-down welfare state, like many American inner-cities, and sizable parts of Europe.
-
Whats going? Why was this topic brought up again?
Oh, because we love Gabby? Is that why?

Hmmmm. You may be on to something.
-
It was brought up cuz it seems Nostra watched the episode and was putting in a remark about it haha
-
Better late then never. I felt this was a good episode, surprised we didn't get more discussion because of bubbly, Gabby.
-
Gabby was just so ridiculously happy. I remember Kyrl posted a funny comic about Gabby. Can't find it now.
-
Let me enlighten the day with Gabby's true intention of meeting the CMC.

-
There it is! Perfect! Lol!
-
I liked Gabby as a character, but she was very high strung and super eager. I would like to see her return one day, see what she is up too.
-
If season 7 is the last season, we are running out of time to see characters we like. I hope we see her at least once more.
-
A character is more then just a side character if they appear twice. ;)
-
Kind of..... ;) But it was good for example to have that season finale that gave all those background characters more air time, and fleshed them out more.
-
They did a great job with Trixie and Discord. And I guess with Thorax too.
-
Maybe we should talk about this in the correct topic if we talk about these characters.
I just can't think of more times we will see people like Gabby, or Ember, or even Thorax again unless we see progress on his new kingdom, which I hope is true.
-
I'm sure we will see more of Thorax's kingdom. I bet it will get a name and his people's name will change too.
-
I bet you are right on the name change. Changelings they are no more. ;)
-
They can call themselves anything. Like... Insectopians. Horrible name.
-
Lets hope they have a better name then that. ;) I wonder where their land is relative to the Equestria map?
-
I really do not know.
-
I'm going to go check if there is anything yet about that.
-
I'll chill here a few.
-
According to the wiki, they don't know for sure.
"Two location designs have been referred to as "the Changeling Kingdom", without specifying whether they are different locations like Rainbow Dash's Cloudominium or one redesigned location like Zecora's Hut.
The temporary Changeling Kingdom appears in the IDW comics' My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Issues #1-4 The Return of Queen Chrysalis and My Little Pony: FIENDship is Magic Issue #5 The Many Tales of Queen Chrysalis and is mentioned in Baby Flurry Heart's Heartfelt Scrapbook Ep. 1 The Royal Wedding. Following A Canterlot Wedding - Part 2, Queen Chrysalis and other changelings are knocked far south from Equestria to "Wuvy-Dovey Smoochy Land", which they conquer and transform into their new center of operations. Here, they are defeated by Twilight Sparkle and are imprisoned within the castle, from which they eventually escape and flee.
The current Changeling Kingdom is alluded to in The Times They Are A Changeling and appears in To Where and Back Again - Part 1 and To Where and Back Again - Part 2. Here, Chrysalis is dethroned and Thorax succeeds her as changeling leader."
-
Yeah, very bland info. No location yet.
-
I would think it has to be somewhat close to the Crystal Empire, since that is where Thorax escaped too. If that were not the case, I would guess out past Griffinstone.
-
I really don't know. Your guess is as good as mine.
-
I think somewhere around the Crystal Empire is a good guess too.
-
It may not be a kingdom in the strictest sense-- changelings are more or less an anomaly of nature, living in underground burrows like animals. Starswirl the Bearded wrote that they originated "from a carnivorous plant that grew from a rotten acorn that fell into a magic pond under a cemetery". Queen Chrysalis' title may be self-conferred; she seems more like the leader of a rogue band of misfits than true royalty.
I could see some characters like Ember and some of the Griffonstone residents returning as part of a counsel Twilight calls to deal with whatever future threat will arise in the finale. A dragon empress and an army of griffons would make for good allies.

That makes perfect sense too. What I still don't get is if there are more Changelings around the world from other groups not related to Chrysalis... is she like their mother too? There are probably other "Queen Hives" out there in the world.
-
This was such a cute episode. I really liked Gabby too. I hope we see her again. 9/10.
-
8/10.
-
I really liked this episode and it was fun seeing a new character, and one that is so eager! 9.
