Haha... thats considered by locals to not even be that pretty of a city.  Spokane is an inland city unlike most of the Pacific Northwest's coastal cities.

The city has a massive park system running through the whole city, and centered right in downtown on an island surrounded by waterfalls.  There are miles of park-trails all around the city.



The city is surrounded by mountains, tree's, and has a ski resort less then 30 minutes from downtown.  City is known for river-rafting.





The city isn't massive and much of historic architecture remains as can be seen in this cityscape shot.

I really like it when I come on and you are sharing about neat places.  You make me want to go to them every time.  The city looks beautiful and if that is what they consider a "not pretty city" in that state, then they have some very high standards.  I like the trees and the water, and the park like setting really shows.  It's beautiful. Wish cities around here cared about nature as much and had some more beautiful parks and settings.

East coast has beautiful cities too.  Older, more grey and brown like you said.  Boston is pretty in it's own way.

Thanks guys. I am still up because I am a procrastinating little butt.  I watched Numbers car wreck video then started watching other car crash scenes on Youtube from like a Russian dash cams.  I'm such a butt nugget!

Oh I'm not going to bed yet.  I got two more ten minute compilations I need to watch.  Ones of bad truck drivers and the other is bad postal delivery drivers!
