Interesting about the Sims, but are gay characters still banned from the games?
I remember a while back in the US releases you couldn't make your character be gay, but in Japan releases you could gay it up.

You always could.  The Sims always allowed characters to kiss and make advances.  I've had Sims 1 through 3.

Also, whats going on with Russia is always worrisome.

Really? I remembered every time I tried you couldn't. Or maybe it was something else you couldn't do, I forget.

Are they anatomically correct?...    ;)

It'd be a little weird if your robotic partner was actually more likable and socially well-adjusted than you....

Although, I can see where there'd be problems with a robo-girl....   (warning: NSFW!)

Well... there is actually work being done for "robotic" sex dolls and shops.  I saw it on the news the other day but didn't post it here.  In Britain they are changing brothels with these robot things... and it's already been going on in Japan... of course Japan.

Ironically, it'd probably be less expensive to buy a real girl.

Texas teacher uses racial stur to name class reading group, feigns ignorance

People are offended by this. When did we become so sensitive here in America? The only thing that offends me is this damn woman can't spell worth crap.  There's no h in that word.   And she's an educator.

"Commonly known" slur? My ass.   I began using that word when writing in my comic 25 years ago because I wanted to get away from the n word, which I though was too harsh, and I found a fairly obscure slur that suited my needs perfectly.  The "j" word carries about the same potency as a black person calling a white person "honkey".  Let's be honest, the only reason people even know that word is because of the Internet... and people like me, who like to throw a few Old Shames back into the faces of those who want to sweep their past insensitivities towards women and minorities under the rug.   At least own up to them, progressives of half-past 1997. Don't try to act like it didn't exist; it did.  It was your idea; you wanted it, you put time, effort, and money into making it happen.  If you found you woke up one morning all changed and said to yourself, "I don't want to do this anymore", hell, that's your problem, asshole.  Run away from your past if you wish, make any restitution and reparations you feel you must to assuage your conscience, but don't try to tell everyone I imagined it, or simply misinterpreted what I heard or saw due to some phantom mental defect on my part. That's just cheap and disingenuous of you.

I can't wait for Mad Max to go off on one of his rants about this after Labor Day weekend wraps up.   I know I'm going to have to dry-clean my drawers after laughing from hearing some 50-year old man use that word on the radio.

Commonly known racial slur? What the fudge, I didn't even know that was a freaking word. And oh oh, so just because she's WHITE it's automatically racist and you can't give her the benefit of the doubt. If she was black, nah it's a mistake and ignorance. F THIS! I hate society. I'm sorry, but I just detest people like this. Trying to get offended at everything, even if it's a simple mistake. People have become just such senstive little politically correct close minded babies they can't maybe consider it was an accident? Besides, was the whole team black or something? Just... God damn it.
