I am real curious what the new land will be.  I predict it will be the Channel Islands (irl) that have the town of Catalina.  It isn't too big but isn't too small either.  It will give Rockstar a new place to play with.  It has to be profitable and this is small enough an area if they make this to make it fun and explorable for new players. 

If it is this, I wonder what they will call this area in the game.

Yeah, so many clearly bad fakes being revealed.  It's so bad and sad that people believe it... and to further make it more stupid, the media posts it...

I'm just waiting for GTA VI.  I really want to hear about that. 

But I am curious how GTA V will be updated for the new systems.

So many random rumors flying around out there.

It's been claimed GTA 6 could be a timed exclusive for the PS5, that it will only be for next-gen consoles, that it could feature a drug running storyline inspired by Netflix's Narcos, have a new location in South America, feature the first ever playable female protagonist and more.

It has also been claimed that GTA 6 will be set in Vice City (which many people have taken for a given by now) and that it could be set in two different time periods - the 80s once again and modern times.

Rockstar Confirms ‘GTA Remastered’ Trilogy Is Coming (GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas)

Rockstar has confirmed what has already leaked a half dozen times by now, that they are releasing a remastered version of the GTA Trilogy, GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas, for current and last-gen consoles.  This will be at the cost of old versions being deleted from online stores.

The update will feature visual improvements while retaining the classic look of the original to a certain extent. There are also improvements to gameplay and UI, but this announcement trailer did not come with an actual look at the remaster, nor a release date. Only that it’s coming some time before the end of the year, and a mobile version is coming in 2022.

Perhaps the most controversial part of this announcement is the fact that Rockstar has announced that it is going to be deleting the “OG” versions of the three games from all available storefronts as soon as next week to “pave the way” for the release of the remasters. This has thrown us into yet another debate about the permanence of digital products, though in this case, it’s a store delisting, it’s not being erased from hard drives. Still, players wonder if they could end up preferring the OG versions of the games more than the remasters with all the changes, and if you do, there will now be literally no way to go back and purchase them.

It does not remotely appear like if you own the original GTA games in this trilogy, that this new trilogy release would be a free upgrade.

I am very optimistic about it actually. It will hopefully be a good reason to replay all those games, in a better state, then the versions we currently have on PC.  I thankfully have the originals on PS2 as well.

I'm hoping they are great.  I still have the originals to play, but I am curious the visual improvements they plan to make as well as controller improvements.  Or maybe they will be... "improvements."

I know the popular thing right now is to knock Rockstar, but I won't yet until we see more about this.  I am excited if it's going to be good.  Those old games are all awesome games, but how will they "improve" them and make "quality of life" changes.

THE TRAILER HAS DROPPED for the GTA Trilogy!!!

Visually, this is what an remaster should be.  It keeps the basic style of the past, but seems to nicely make things look cleaner, newer, nicer.  The gameplay and other changes are still unknown. 

It is coming real soon.  November 11, 2021!! Rockstar did say controls will be modern and all missions can be replayed.  Two of the most requested options.
