So summer is coming up. Who here has plans for summer they want to share?

A few road trips to destinations yet to be determined as well as a camping trip to Yellowstone. That's the plan so far.

I have one trip planned. :) Maybe a few small road trips would be fun too.

I know! I can't wait.
But summer doesn't mean much. I mean, to adults, summer is just another time. We still work, get no summer vacation. So just another time period that really means nothing.

Except it is hot and it makes you uncomfortable.

Going to a water park might be a good idea.

Going down a water slide is always a blast from the past. Haven't done that in awhile. :)

That would be kinda fun.

Lots of places aren't near theme parks and amusement parks, or water parks. Those people have to... cry?

Amusement Parks are fun though. :) I like roller coasters, but I am very particular about which ones I would go on. ;D I also like bumper cars and go-kart tracks... because who doesn't like racing and beating people? ;)

I like water rides and go karts. ;D I also like those rides that are often boats and go up, then down, then up, then down, like on waves. I prefer the ones that don't go upside down.

So a pendulum ride I think, yeah those can be fun!

Leaving Wednesday for three weeks in Scotland, London and Iceland.

Now there are two places I want to go. Iceland and Scotland! Please share your experiences when you get back. Sounds like a fun time. Safe travels to you.

Happy to. I totally cheat, though- I have family in Edinburgh who are more than happy to trade my cooking for a place to sleep.

I wish. My auntie married a British banker and moved there before I was born. My mother's side is all mixed northern European...and my father's is so Hispanic that I can't date in-state without checking for relation. In the town I've grown up in, we're one of the founding families, having been here for going on 400 years. It's not a situation I recommend.

Wow, that is cool to have that heritage though. Sounds like a small town though, so probably everyone knows everyone, which can make things hard. Lots of gossip.
