Roasted chicken salad.

You need...

Lettuce or your choice.
Sliced almonds
Cherry tomatos.
Roasted chicken breast strips
You can throw on those crispy fried dough strings too.
Light dressing of your choice, preferably with sesame or raspberry.

I did one of those one-pan lunch preps.  Came out really good. Still shocked the chicken was cooked so well in only 20 mins.  I added an extra breast so each meal had a full chicken breast.

I'd nick the green beans for something else though, they didn't reheat very good.

Made a pretty good greek salad yesterday for dinner. Olives. Love olives. Red, black, green, love olives. Some fresh feta too.

I love olives too.  Any color really, and even with the seeds in them.  They just pop with so much flavor that way.

I can't stand olives-- or, as I dub them, "the tiny black buttholes of Satan".

I do, however, make a meatloaf so juicy, tender and delicious that you'll want to smoke a cigarette after eating it.

Also have a great three-bean chili recipe... don't smoke after eating that one, because you don't want to be too near an open flame, if you--heh--catch my drift....    >>()

Kind of interesting.

7 once thought extinct apples have been found growing in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho!

As long as they aren't like the infamous "death apples" that, thankfully, only grow in the tropical areas of the southern U.S. and Central/ South America.  Apparently they're quite delicious, but if you eat one, you soon after feel a burning in the mouth, swelling in the throat and GI tract, and horrible stomach cramps. Even just exposure to the juice or sap of the tree on one's skin burns like hell.  I first read about them in a post on the old AJM forums by a guy who was really into weird trivia. Years later I saw this in an old Navy training film (as in our military, not where you go to buy a pair of overpriced britches in some shade of brown you never heard of), and the pangs of nostalgia hit me more virulently than any poison fruit.  :-\

Lol!  Thanks for sharing.  Yikes.

I know wild mushrooms can be dangerous, wild berries, but never really thought of apples.

Mustn't forget water (that's covered in another film, actually).  Untreated, it can carry all sorts of parasites, industrial pollution, and farm runoff that'll give you seven shades of the squitters if you drink it.

Even if you think you are an expert, you should never be so sure of yourself when eating wild fruits and mushrooms.  And yes, water too.
