Watching the Debate. After going to my political leadership class, holy crap. My eyes are so much more open.

Trump is destroying Clinton right now.

Trump won this debate hands down.  The most telling part of the entire debate was at the very end when the gentleman asked Trump and Clinton to say one nice thing about each other.  Hillary didn't compliment Trump and she then went right back into rhetoric.  Trump answered the question with a wonderful compliment to Clinton, then stopped.  He didn't go into rhetoric.  A wonderful end to a debate Trump and his base should feel they won.

The moderators, especially the ABC host really wanted to debate Trump as much as Clinton.

Great debate, watched it nonstop.

Trump did win this time, a huge turnaround.  He learned from Mike Pence who won his debate against Kaine.

In the very beginning, Trump I felt faltered a little bit answering the  video questions, and he could have done better answering the Islamic lady, but other then that, he was pretty much spot on and gave his base the performance they wanted.  Did he attract new voters?  I'm not so sure.  But this was a Trump win.  This new thing the Clinton Campaign is doing in trying to tie Trump to Putin isn't working.

Smart move having the women accusing Bill Clinton of raping them there too.  Bill was nervous.  Hillary was constantly on the defensive tonight.  She did not perform as good.

There is no way coming out of that debate, if I was a Democrat, would I feel Hillary won the debate.  I wouldn't say she did horrible.  She didn't, but Trump improved so much that it blew her out of the water.  She couldn't compete, and Trump was more aggressive.  She came off as nervous and on the defensive this time.  I will say, she knows how to "act" sincere.  She does well at looking at the person who asked her a questions and she has improved her sincerity approach.

But you and I both know, MasterX, it's an act.  She isn't lovable in anyway.  She is a typical politician who lies and manipulates to get what they want.  Her answer at the end showed her true colors like you said.

No, I know that.  She didn't sway voters to her side.  I don't see how she could have.  She did nothing new, provided no new ideas, and didn't answer anything.  It was all generalities.  Trump actually went in depth with some things this time.

Yes, Trump did go into detail this time, which was great.  He talked about his tax plan, the healthcare issues.

His biggest failure tonight was answering the Muslim woman.  He didn't answer that well, babbled, and if I were Muslim, would certainly not have swayed me to vote for him.  Clinton didn't do any better I might add.

When it came down to it, Hillary said the same thing as Trump when it comes to Muslims entering the US.  "Extreme vetting."  But then she quickly tried to shed layers off that and de-fang it.  So in the end, she was proposing a near close amnesty plan.

She never mentioned Radical Islam, but she did say Radical Jihadists.  She did actually say ISIS instead of ISIL, which is good.  I can understand her reasoning for not saying Islam in "radical Islamic terrorists," but then she is also thumping the PC warrior drums again.

Thumping those PC drums is how you pick up the college educated female vote.  As a generality (sorry) they tend to like the PC thing then guys.  Which is why this revelation of Trump in the bus with that ABC host talking about women so poorly is a really bad thing.  But Trump did okay getting away from that, learned a lot, and we come away not talking about it.  The media will talk about it thought because they don't want him to win.

Trump win.  Okay, two of us agree on that.  We went over his negatives and his positives.  I think we should hear other opinions now.

I think you are right.  Overall I would say it was a good debate with some telling moments.  A much stronger run for Trump this go, as well as a decent showing from Clinton.  Trump ultimately won this debate.  I think we won't see that reflected in the polls these next coming days though.  She will remain in the lead.

I think so.  I don't think as many people will have watched this debate as the 1st debate.  But I do think it will still be a lot of people.  Over 50 million.

Sunday Night Football competed with this, and even with NFL ratings slightly down this year, I think many will have been switching back and forth between football and the debate.
