You would do yourself a dis-service to not listen to the whole song, it builds up brilliantly.
Little King John Fugue In D Minor by Ratboygenius.

Ratboygenius is such a majestic. What exactly WAS RBG? I'd only seen this and the theme song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iw1EnLvm88)

I'm not sure anyone really knows what RBG is. The guy was on a radio interview in California, and he seemed like a normal nice guy, and he pretty much said it was an outlet to share his music with people. I guess he purposely does poor animations to add to the bizarre factor, because he real love is his music. I'm sure you can find it somewhere.
I've only watched snippets of his stuff, and a miniseries called, "THE FLOOD." I sometimes can't tell if he is a genius or just quirky. The Flood was really good and had wonderful music and a strangely captivating story.
-
Uhhh.....
-
I'm listening to my body give out and die because of my damned job. Will explain more when I get home.
-
Thinking of love there, Soda? ;) Ha ha!
Don't kill yourself, Blurr.
-
I'm with ya there Blurr. I'm hearing that sound they use in movies, like after there's a loud gunshot and there's that ringing noise. Yeah, that. Or a high pitched sound. Except it's in my ears . Rip.

30 Seconds to Mars.
I don't hear them talked about much.
-
Hoobastank has been around forever.... since the mid 90s. ;D I liked Hooba back in the day and still do. They had a few songs that got played on radio stations 24/7, then disappeared.
I am currently listening to "American Pie" by Don McLean.

I love their Fight or Flight album. Mongolia is top notch.
-
I know Hoobastank. Aren't they pretty commonly known?
-
I only ever heard of them from my religion teacher in Sophmore year, bless her soul she was the sweetest woman ever put on this earth. God I love her. She'd be a wonderful mom.
Anyone else I bring it up to hadn't heard of them.
-
I've heard of them, but I don't know if they're still performing.
I've also heard the band's name is slang for the smell of a woman's private parts, but I think that's just an urban legend....
-
I know Hoobastank. I have an old CD by them. :)
-
Nice.
-
In a mature mood tonight.

I'm listening to the song "Mirror Mirror" from RWBY. The same girl does most of the musical work for that show but dammit she is fantastic.

I looked up "God Save the Queen" and clicked this without looking at the title
and when the intro was different and the lyrics were all fancy, I was very confused, cuz I was expecting the Sex Pistols

*Places hand on my heart and sings the true "God Save the Queen" anthem.*

I'll just be here with my Sex Pistols :p

This is what I listen to:

Before I Forget- Slipknot (All Instruments Off Tempo)
I want to die :D

^ That doesn't sound delightful. ;D Lol. Why would you torment yourself to off tempo stuff like that?
-
Because it's interesting to see just how....BAD you can make a song by adjusting the tempo.

I believe there is an underground subculture that listens to that music and actually pretends to like it.

The hum of my fan.
-
My dog imitating the sound of a passing ambulance outside. It's quite eerie.
-
Eeriely good?
-
Eerily... eerie. It sounded a bit like an air raid siren in an old-timey movie. Not something you want to hear on a dark moonless night when the streetlight is out.
-
Get you soul on.
-
The gentle mmmmmmmmmmmmmm of my computer.
-
Always a wonderful sound to listen to. :)
-
It is nice. But I am worried one day when it makes an odd noise then just... BLEH. End of computer.

I know, Miggs. Tf sucks. :-\

One of my friend's is on his 16th year with an Apple computer. All he has done is keep updating it. No new parts, and it runs smoothly and fast.
I'm like on my fourth PC in that time frame.
-
Lol! This.
-
I learned today that this song is 40 years old, goddaaaaaaaaaaamn.
Or I guess realized/finally did the math. "Oh '77 wasn't that long ago."
NOPE. 40 years.
-
I was two when that ditty came out, bub. Don't consign me to the rocking chair just yet-- bad back, rotten knees, aching hips, and plantar fascitis not with---(belch)-- standing. ;)
-
I like that song. Always have. :) *Nods.*
You want me to fetch your slippers, Nostradamus so you don't have to get up and strain your back?

Jus pre-ordered this CD, "Stargazer" by Jesse Terry. Not sure if it would interest people here or not, but I will post it (https://smile.amazon.com/Stargazer-Jesse-Terry/dp/B074JSB154/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504932652&sr=8-1&keywords=stargazer+jesse+terry). Might attract a new listener. :)
This is the song the CD is named after, Stargazer.
-
Thank you for sharing, Silverwing. ^^^ I listened to it and truly enjoyed it. It had sort of an older kind of sound to it which reminded me... well, it reminds me of someone, I am just not sure who. It was quite good and I am listening to some other stuff by them. Thanks.

Because why not?

-
I'm not sure why, but these last couple days, especially after watching the MLP finale, I've been listening to this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3SELmNS9xg) repeatedly. I must be going mad. Or maybe the song is just really freaking good? Who knows. 8S
Song recorded for the 1980s French-Canadian TV show "Lance et Compte"/"He Shoots, He Scores".
-
So Canadian and French at the same time. I am now listening to that... on like my fourth listen! Lol. I love that 80s synth beat intro.
-
Ever notice how inspiring and happy 80s songs are? Good song, Numbers. Would never have known about this, but I am addicted to it now too.
-
Glad you guys like it. :)
-
Ever notice how inspiring and happy 80s songs are?
Yeah, and then just a decade later, it all got so depressing and cynical. The nineties' singers often mumble and slur angrily through loud, jangling guitar chords that drown out their often nonsensical lyrics. I mean, what happened to Alanis to turn her from this happy, bubbly Canuck pop diva--
--to the reigning queen of "riot grrl" alt-rock? Did Dave Coulier break her heart that badly? Was he really such a jagged little pill, or is it just supposed to be ironic? You oughtta know. ;)

I’ve has this stuck in my head all day: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=K-PZixk0UgQ
-
This song brought me back to a time long ago.
-
Song just popped into my feed and the doll/puppet intrigued me. Good song.
-
^ WOW. I haven't seen this vid or heard this song in YEARS. WOW. WOW. Weird memories. The early 2000s was a huge rebirth of alternative rock. So many great bands and songs, but so many were quickly forgotten as pop took over later in the 2000s.
-
Yeah I didn't know how old that song was till I did a bit of research lmao. I'm glad I found it though, it's got a nice bass I wanna learn. It's so damn catchy, too. Been in my head all day, I keep going back to it.
I think this might link to a bit of a story from around that time. Quick little story.
My sister had mentioned to me about a song with a music video that's got a real creepy puppet/doll in it. I was really interested because like, how creepy could it look, y'know? I remember getting a small glimpse of the video while she was watching it on TV. I vaguely remember a puppet jumping on what looked like a bed, much like in this video. Although I remember the song being a lot heavier. Needless to say, I was spooked.
If that IS the case, it's kind of funny, because ANOTHER song whose video I remember came back to me like a week ago. I remember watching this video, but never thought it was a Fallout Boy song lmao.
Uhh, obvious gore warning because it's Happy Tree Friends, if anyone wants to check it out lul.
So yeah, these two songs I've just been listening to in the BG while I do crap, lul.
-
That is probably the song then. This is the only music vid with a creepy puppet I can think of for that time, lol. ;D I remember this song when it came out, then totally forgot about it. But then when i saw it, I remembered the creepy puppet and how catchy the song is. Been playing it my head for several days now and it keeps popping up on my Youtube Recommendations. Creepy.
-
Saaaame. Ever since I first posted the video it's just been popping up. I mean, when I first heard it I was like "Yoo this is a good-ass song" so I put it in my playlist. But even after that, it still comes up in my recommendations lmao
-
I watched the video and no joke, it has probably been appearing in my recommendations now every single day. Lol. It's okay, because I keep listening to it.

Gorillaz - The Pink Phantom ft. Sir Elton John & 6LACK

@Heavy-Chevy
Oh man, this is is some quality stuff here! I have very strange music taste and it varies from classical instrumental to jpop and everything between, only things i really cant listen are those screamo types of metal? rap and dubstep, it just never got to me in a level that i would enjoy it. but as long as it's not that kind of music, there is a high chance i like it, so i would very much like to collect more playlists to listen while playing! Offer away! ;D
Now what i've been listening for a while:
This is some Finnish "folk music" thou it's kinda with metal twist and i freaking love it, the tempo is perfect, some songs arent as good, but most of it gives nice energy charge to go through mountains! So if you want to try it out I would suggest to start with the song titled Vodka and just let the play list take you through, if it works as intended, you never know with Youtube ;D
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqwvhRl6zCWPaVFG0yNmxJL1rEkf7y8jk
I also found this one yesterday and I laughed so hard it's kinda like "parody" song of bad boys are here by Peer günt:
I think there was like english translation in the comments if you want to know what they're singing about :))
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlBUjdqZXGs&list=PLqwvhRl6zCWPaVFG0yNmxJL1rEkf7y8jk&index=29
Thou some of my favorites are "Mettänpeitton valtiaalle", "Erämaan ärjyt", "Vesaisen sota", "Ievan polkka", "Metsälle" and "Ruumiinmultaa"
But i would warmly suggest to just go ahead and try out what you might find enjoyable since everyone has different tastes!
-
I've been listening to a few songs, actually. First off, here's the most epic King Dedede theme ever... Roar of Dedede!
Betcha didn't expect a Kirby song to go that hard, huh? 8)
Next are two songs that are arguably better than their remixes in Smash Bros: Gangplank Galleon and Crocodile Cacophony.
Just throwing a question out there, does anyone else prefer video game music over "real" music?
-
Watching leaked GTA VI footage. That is my soundtrack.
-
How are the Gorillaz still making such awesome music 20 years later? The story continues!

Only You by Yazoo.

The first new song by Billy Joel in decades?? Mr. Joel released a new song this morning, Feb 1, 2024. "Turn the Lights Back On." It is wonderful, like going back in time. One can tell he questions his decision to stop making music so many years ago. Is it too late to come back? Listen to this wistful song.
-
^ That is beautiful.
