Yeah, I've been watching it.  Latest models show it will make landfall then just over over a portion of Texas for up to 7 days as a super storm.

But if it just dumps 2 inches of rain a day, Houston and the area should be able to cope.  We should worry a bit how it may hurt our oil refineries there.

Just how it is for now.  Could change.

In the recent past, forecasters have over predicted the intensity of storms, and they've all been worse.

Remember how they said global warming would make storms more intense and we would have more storms?  Well this is our first actual "big" storm in 12 years.... sooooo.... yeah.  First one to make landfall too.
