Wish it would come sooner, but I love this new stuff for photo mode.

I am blanking out... but is there lightning in either of these games?

I can imagine an awesome shot in the dessert with a lighting strike in the background.

Okay, I will share some pictures.  Seen a lot of weird stuff in my travels as of late, and wanted to share some scenery too.

Somewhere high up in the Rockies of Colorado.

Not to far west of Steamboat Springs, Colorado isthmus very unfortunate looking truck accident.  It wiped out the fence and totaled the truck.

Another unfortunate accident but this time for this tractor driver.  Maybe he lost his breaks and took out the road sign.  Luckily he safely hit ditch and didn't have this issue going down hill on this mountain pass in Colorado.

Down one of the many secret roads in Colorado, I found this puzzlingly scene.  We got a hay bale mess!

I do not remember the town, but there is an accident or possible bank robbery attempt in this small Colorado town.  State police are the the scene.

They pulled up in a fancy new Dodge Charger.

Skyline view of Seattle, Washington on a beautiful sunny day.

A very big accident on one of Washington's highways.  Washington State Patrol, fire, and medic were all on scene.

Skyline photo of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Cool abandoned building in a Colorado ghost town.

Another neat abandoned building in a former mining town in the Colorado Rockies.

Very neat lighting in this rocky gorge in Idaho.

Another neat view of this rocky gorge in Idaho somewhere.

Wow.
I think you will really like the new photo mode update ;D. That ghost town building is nice, but a photo of it in a foggy evening would be even better.
As I said earlier, now we see another addition which makes some mods obsolete ;D. Please, SCS, make the game compratible with .aac audio format. There is a lot of radio stations which have migrated to .aac and I can’t add them into game anymore :(.
I am blanking out... but is there lightning in either of these games?
Well, in both games I (and you too, probably) have seen a flash with thunder sound a lot of times.
But it’s almost impossible to enter a photo mode in a right moment ;D.

Great photos!  Lot of interesting finds, many things I have never seen.  Love the ghost town photos.  Love all the additions SCS keeps doing to ATS.  So many fun little secrets.

Very nice photos!  The new lighting especially looks fantastic on those photos with the police car at the bank robbery building and the squad car itself.

Loving the photos @Captain Ridiculous!  A good mix of funny and some quality shots with beautiful scenery and lighting.

I remember someone posted a photo earlier of a horse playing soccer somewhere in Spain.  Maybe something weird like that will be found again by our photographers.

Those screens are great!  I like seeing what people have seen!  Hope more do it.

I am thrilled because the people posting these pics tend to be members of the site who don't normally engage as much, and to see them engage here is awesome!

I think some new locations for making screenshots are coming. ;D
So, like Germany, the result will be released by parts, but there are no estimated date. Can’t wait to see what they have already done ^-^.

This is great news!  I never even heard that they were doing a rework of California.  Why do they hide this info on streams that no one see's because they are at work. ;D  I also read rumors on the forum, people saying it's "confirmed" they will do a rework of the UK, but I have never seen or heard this either.

As for this, the biggest upgrades need to be San Francisco, Oakland, and Los Angeles.  Possibly San Diego.  The biggest cities in ATS's California are the worst offenders.  Great at the time, but no where near their standards today.  San Fran is mostly good, but it needs to polish and a refresh of the skyline.  Oakland needs to exist, lol!  They don't even show the cityscape in the distance of anything.  Big miss.  San Diego can be seen in the distance, but the suburbs seem very disconnected and the layout is not even logical.

Los Angeles doesn't look anything like the real city, and I am not sure how they can fix this without starting over. Downtown looks generic, the waterfront does look nice, but needs upgrades to look more realistic and not feel like it was pieced together by lego block lots.

^ I have never heard SCS officially say they were reworking more (I am sure they will).  Anything that isn't on the blog though, I don't know about.  I only read their blog.

Great photos @Captain Ridiculous!  Also I am very excited about the California rework.  The big cities especially need some big city fixing.  Especially to meet the current standards set by the game.

Both normal and super-single types are available, and (oh, finally!) all of them have paintable sidewalls ^-^:
Also, the DLC contains blue rims, blue truck&trailer paintjob and some items for Cabin Accessories slots:
Better late than never ;D. So, now I am waiting for ETS’s turn: we have paintable sidewalls for one trailer tire type, but no official Michelin or Goodyear trailer tyres yet — it’s time to correct this :D.

P.S. I wonder, will be Michelin added to ATS as well? From some sources I heard this brand is more appreciated by truck drivers than GoodYear ;D. And, that source gave a link to a video of one of I-70 runaway truck ramps in action:
(I saw some very familiar scenery on the preview, and then they said that was really I-70 ;D). That sign «Trucker, you are not down yet!» (I love it even more than «DNT TXT AND DRV» :D) which can be found in the game, also is present at 1:48.

Goodyear will be nice.  I never understood why Michelin wasn't in ATS.

Also that video is crazy.  I've watched a few videos of truckers user those ramps.
