Oh damn tho, that's a lot!
Did you play any of the other Spyro games?

Aw, man, I loved Spyro 1-3.  Looking back, I think it would be fair to say I was a capital-F Fan of the series.

Spyro 4 was a big let down, and afterwards I could never summon the wherewithal to try any of the other post-Insomniac incarnations. :(

From the little shown in this game so far, it looks beautiful.  It looks like it will have a varied landscape ranging from grasslands to conifer forests and snow capped peaks.  I am really excited.  Even in these early scenes, it looks so alive and beautiful.  I'm thinking the location will be similar to the Eastern Rockies.

This was very much an environmental trailer to give us an idea of the world they are in.  Based on the telephone poles and electrical wires, it would seem this is after the 1880s.

Oh wow, that does look cool! I've never played the original Red Dead, however.

WHHAAAT?  Drop everything you are doing and go play it.  NOW.

If you like Zombies, buy that weird add on, Undead Nightmare too, but play that after you complete the main game.  Red Dead Redemption IS one of the greatest, most complete games of all time.

I would agree to that.

I watched the live broadcast of the trailer this morning.  I am really jazzed about this. :)  I'm listening to the original RDR soundtrack right now.  I just don't want to wait a year!

I would highly recommend playing RDR from beginning to end, Miggs.  If you like the open worlds that Rockstar has made with GTA's, RDR is completely different, yet sort of familiar.  There are no buildings and skyscrapers blocking you to the open world of New Austin, West Elizabeth, and a northern chunk of Mexico.

Wow, that was a good trailer.  Rockstar does great cuts and it was also recorded on the PS4 with all in game footage, nothing rendered afterword.  Thats good to know.

It seems they are showing us just a small area here.

Are you serious, Miggs?  You've... never.... REALLY?  How haven't you?  Why have you never?  Did playing arguably the greatest games of all time (when they came out at their time periods) not interest you?
