Oh yeah, he sounds like "The Brain" from Pinky and the Brain!

Maurice LaMarche on MLP:FiM?  That sound you here is a thousand fanboys swooning.

This one isn't online yet, but I'm catching up on back episodes.    A mystery at a movie set.   "Equestrian Girls" meets "Scooby-Doo".  Pretty easy case.  I guessed the suspect's identity almost immediately.

Part 1 is down.  It had it's ups and downs... but I wasn't a big fan of the school thing so far.  I do like some of the newer characters.

Watching Twilight cry and be mopey was cute and sad at the same time.  Starlight did a good job at helping here.

I find all the Yak characters to be annoying, loud, and obnoxious.

I figured more would be done with the return of the Pillars in this season . I mean, Star-Swirl the Bearded would make a great headmaster for the magic school/mentor for Twi. Or would that be a little too "Harry Potter" to suit the fanbase?

The episode was good.  Combined I would give is a 6/10 for being passable.  I don't care if we see these students much anymore, and I hope the school isn't the main focus this season.  I found the episode to be alright and somewhat meh.  Some good character interactions though which was nice, but there were so many characters, it made it hard to spend much time on each character.
