So we are in the early stages of a larger group poster/picture that will include EVERY MEMBER who wants to be in it. The original idea so far was have every character sneezing ... hence PSF is about sneeze ... but we are always open to ideas. We may have a sneezing version and a normal smiling version or group shot not sneezing.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
What you have to do is post if you would like to be in it then post your PONY OC reference picture below. We need that reference page or a picture of your character so we know how to draw them. We would prefer your character be based off of YOU, but if not, that is alright too. As a helpful tip, if you don't think you will look back often, post how your character sneezes or would sneeze, describing the sound and spell it out. Maybe explain if sneezes have spray or not, etc.
If you have a cutie mark, explain it or show it if you have a picture.
If you have a non PONY OC such as a persona animal feel free to post it and it will be discussed as we move forward with the artists on how to implement it all. You will have plenty of time to make a character too, as this is still a ways away.
To have the most accurate depiction of your character, the more pictures or details you share is the best.
I DON'T HAVE A CHARACTER BUT WANT TO BE IN THE PHOTO
If you don't have a character, but want to be in the picture, post you want to be in the picture right away, and go work on creating a character. I recommend using either of these two tools to get some rough ideas out if you can't draw. We are looking for artists or a single artist who wants to take up this project. We can have multiple artists tackle it as a group or in separate projects. Again, we are in the early stages and planning phases.

Okay! I will be the first to say I would like to join this! Here is my character and her official look and colors. :) Her name is Rainberry, and the shortened version of her name is Raine. :)
Here CM is a raincloud with rain droplets. How original I know.

She sneezes a wet, misty sneeze. Her name RAINBERRY kind of describes the misty sneeze spray she blows from her nose and mouth. Around others of course she will try to not sneeze or cover up. Her sneezes sound wet, however that may be depicted as. They are longer sneezes as opposed to a short sneeze, and often have build up with nostril flare and cute lil' hitches.

(Note that the cutie mark resembles an eight note in shape; the blue mask should be a bit higher up than the yellow. And her eyes could stand to be a bit brighter.)
Sneeze-oriented details -- a "Heh-ISHHEW!!" or "Hehh-ESHHEW!" sound is good. Maybe a little bit of spray, but not too much.
As far as helping on the project itself, I would love to but I also don't know how busy my next quarter of school is going to leave me. :X So mark me down for a very light "yes" for now, and we'll see where that goes from there depending on when we start this and how much time I'll have to work on it.

So I am unfortunately going to make this complicated. All the artists who have drawn my character have never decided on a set color for my hair or eyes. So it varies from red hair with red eyes to blonde hair with yellow eyes.
Here is a handful of reference pictures. My character always wears a little business suit because she's running PSF! Darrin just thinks he is. ;) Some artists give my character a red bow, some don't. Always a smile pin on my jacket and a green tie. You can see all the references below.

My character has a spray sneeze with a sound of "Eeeesshhhuuu!", "Eschheww!" or "Iiissshooo." It sounds wet. Spray can be seen often. If a sick cold sneeze happens, it can be a bit messy. But I will always try not to sneeze or show I am sick.

Well, I still redrew me. I did it really fast... sooo.... yeeeaaah. I drew the cutie mark bigger then it needs to be, but it was to show the artist what it looks like. Darkened my colors a bit. Male.

Never thought about how he would sneeze, but he would probably stifle them. He certainly wouldn't sneeze much. But if it can't be stifled, a light "Heh-choo!" works. No spray. No mess.

Okay! So I totally want to be a part of this. My characters sneezes are wet, messy, lots of spray. Often uncovered or she will try to cover around others. Her name is Soda or Soda Pop. Sneezes a lot, known for triples.

So my character is above. Too cool for a cutie mark, don't got one. ;)
My character first of all wouldn't sneeze, but if he did it would be into the cuff and sound muffled. Not messy, no spray. Singles only.
Hair is brown. Always wears a suit like Smiles as I am the other admin of PSF. Got to keep things rolling. Tie color can vary in any color. Eye color is grey-ish blue or brown.

She tends to sneeze in doubles. Spray-filled sneezes that sound like "KK''SSSSHHHUUUUU!" "KK''SSSSHHHUUUUU!"

He has a tendency to sneeze twice in a row with light spray but is normally shy so will hold back.

Exactly, Grapefoot, a prominent dude here, is known for having a.... fluffy creature thing. lol. They tried to draw him a pone, then he just liked the fluffy creature. He always had silly avatars of cats doing silly stuff, and if ya know him, it sort of just fit him and was accepted. ;D

tbh I really don't like the idea of a picture of everyone sneezing. Then nobody is interacting or showing any personality. It would be just a picture of literally everyone sneezing. Kinda boring and weird. So if y'all do it then don't include Spring cuz that's not my aesthetic. xD
Good luck to those who do this! If we're not going with the everyone-sneeze option then I may be willing to draw one or two characters. But we'd have to figure this out in an organized fashion. And also definitely no guarantees on me.

APD drew my cat character back in 2016 and it has stuck sense then! He's me in cat form... and he's purple... not like the real me.... and he's a cat.... not like the real me! He's nothing like me, but represents me! Hooray! :D

Following up on Erudi's post! I was hit with a burst of inspiration after seeing what she had done so far, and decided to round out the group by drawing all of the characters she hadn't.

I then started brainstorming what some of the actual sneezes might be like. These are a little rough -- some even incomplete -- but it lead to an interesting train of thought. Perhaps some characters could be building up to a sneeze, others in the middle of a release, and some post-sneeze while others just simply watch?
I think showing all different stages of it beyond just everyone releasing at once would be a fun direction to take it. There's a lot of comedy and variety in a sneeze that can be displayed between this group of characters that would help to keep the piece visually interesting.

By the way, I am not a founding member of PSF, nor am I someone who helped start this project... but from what I see so far from the many talented artists here is a great opportunity.
You could almost allow people to continue drawing sketches or pics of their ideas for these characters, then at the end, choose the favs and stitch them together and finalize a drawing based off the various sketches by people.
For example, maybe they like this pose from APD and this one from Paws and this one from Silverwing. Grab those, and make them fit into a poster filled with other "best of" poses and angles or whatever.

I've been gone for a long while. Winter break...wasn't much of a break for me at all thanks to my pizza delivery job getting way crazier than usual.
Anyway, the reason I commented on this here. Paws, that sketch is adorable. I love how you used claof's pumpkin design like this, and seriously, I think it is oddly adorable how the sketch turned out. I'm not sure why to be honest, but I really like what you drew for Claof!
I'm not sure if I'll have a character be in the group poster or not but the idea itself smiles had of a group poster is awesome :)
