This is an entry for Mystery Serpent's contest he's running on DA.
My entry is a short comic called "Oops"
I'll post the pages as I finish them :D Enjoy!

Skyiler is napping when something stirs in the rust colored grass.
He cracks an eye open looking directly at the intruder "Show yourself stranger"
A snake pops it's head out of the tall grass "Hey Ssskyiler! Long time no sssee"
The feral lifts his head looking down at the snake "Hey Mystery, been a while"
The snake starts to slither up the big feral's paw *not an easy task*

The snake curls up on the feral's muzzle so he can look his friend in the eye when they talk.
However he didn't realize his whole body was covered in pollen from slithering through the meadow.
It takes Skyiler a split second to feel the effects from the yellow dust, his eyes began to tear up.
A red streak went across his muzzle and cheeks.
He sniffs softly "Hhh..."
The snake cocks his head to the side "Are you okay, Ssskyiler?"
The feral's muzzle wrinkles up underneath the snake "Heeh..."
Suddenly Skyiler tips his head back "Heeeeehh..." This causes the snake to slide down from the tip of the muzzle and flop between the feral's big eyes.
The snake's eyes goes wide when he realizes what's happening as the feral takes a last deep breath "Heeeehhh..."

Then Skyiler jerked his head down "Haeh'KSHUUUH!" the poor snake goes flying off the feral's muzzle and disappears in the tall grass.
The feral shakes his head, then when he opens his eyes he realized the snake isn't on his muzzle anymore.
"Great, I just killed him... That gust was pretty strong" He said to himself.

But then the snake pops his head up from the tall grass "Bless you big guy!" He chuckled lightly.
Skyiler perked his ears "Mystery!" Feeling relieved that his friend didn't get injured or worse.
Mystery slithers up the feral's leg, making his way up around one of the feral's large ears and then settled down on top of his head "I'll sssit here inssstead" Mystery giggled and patted Skyiler's forehead.
Skyiler looked up at the snake and nodded "Yeah, less chance of another mishap there" He said, well at least the snake won't go flying in case it does happen again.
