It reminds me of cartoons from yesteryear back in the 90s like Hey Arnold and Recess.  It even takes a clue from the show Clarence in harkening back to the past and world building.  If you like cartoons of the 90s, I can say that so far, Craig of the creek is a very good and enjoyable show.  It's just kids being kids and it reminds me of how entertained I could be out in nature, just playing with my pals. :)  How even the most simple of environments could make an awesome fort, and how hanging down by the stream could be a whole afternoon of fun.

From what I have seen of the show so far, it's cute.  I like how it reminds me of childhood.

If you look closely at the pilot episode, you can see a Steven Universe doll amidst the pile of lost toys the kids find in the sewer drain.

I didn't notice that.

Oh, yes.  I've also noticed Stacks has the same nervous habit of stroking her hair as Kimby from Clarence.   I'm also liking the realistic body shape on Alexis, Craig's brother's girlfriend.

The show makes me think of childhood innocence and how you would imagine things out in the woods like a war movie or kingdoms or whatever.  I love shows when they do stuff like this.  Kids Next Door did it a lot too.

It's a good show and deserves a second season more than some other shows.

I'm glad it got a second season, it deserves it.

I am sad this show isn't pulling in better ratings.  It reminds me of shows we grew up with from the 90s.  Shows with a world built around them and deep characters.  Do kids really not care about development anymore?  I loved it as a kid.

I agree.  This is a fun show and I am liking the overarching story arc taking place. :)  I like how we slowly expand the world.
