My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic - "Frenemies"
"Frenemies" is the 8th episode of season 9 and the 204th episode overall. It is written by Micheal Vogel and will release on May 18th, 2019.
SYNOPSIS: Grogar's plan to have the other villains become allies works too well when they almost become friends.

I'm exited about tomorrow's episode! The premise sounds like fun!

Bad guys need to be friends.

So we got a bad guy centric episode setting up here it seems.

We got Tired, Chrysalis, and Cozy BLOWS.

Grogar won't care about that.

Cozy is sort of like a young but more evil Starlight.

Tired is weird when he is lifting weights. He has like legs on his groin.

Chrysalis is going insane and talking to a rock.
-
Cupcakes are a reason to go.

I must give Cozy a lot of credit for her ordering skills.

She's a good organizer.

Chrysalis eats her own essence.

Was not expecting this. It's got a bad guy sound to it, I like it!

Chrysalis just wanted to look at Tirek's rear.

I still don't really know why Cozy is evil. Do you? Whats her reasoning?

I still am not sure what Cozy's ultimate goal here is.

Grogar is a cold blooded killer.

Interesting looking mountain. Very pointy.

Cozy has a lot of aspects like Twi and Starlight... it's interesting. She always wants to be organized and have a plan.

I wonder if she will get redemption in the end: Little Cozy Glow given a second chance.

Discord was something till friendship ruined him. Good line.

So how will they get by Rusty Buckets?

Fairly easily. Poor dude.

Chrysalis's powers are invaluable.

Tirek does think things through way more then I thought, so he's a very smart dude.

Hmmm, a backstabbing is going to be huge.

And there we have it, "Frenemies." It was a good episode. I enjoyed seeing everything from the villains perspective and I actually got to like them all a bit more because of this episode. It gets a good score to me. 8/10.

Good! I’m glad we got an episode like this - I was worried the villains would drop off the face of the earth until the finale.
[spoiler]I wonder if the goat knows that encouraging his team to cooperate is just going to infect them with friendship and turn them good. I’ll be really impressed if that factors into his evil plan somehow.[/spoiler]

This was one of the best episode this season and it added more depth to a shallow cast of villains! This was by far one of the better episodes as it gave everyone some chance to talk and share. Seeing this group bonding then starting to see some light was terrific. Seeing all their strengths and traits was what helped propel this episode to one of the best this season.

Cozy reminds me a lot of the villain from Cats Don't Dance. The staff on MLP may give her a reason why she's evil in a flashback scene, but for now Cozy is evil just for the sheer fact that she can be. In her mind she doesn't need a reason to act the way she does, it's how she's always been thinking.
"Gregory" / Grogar is the one I am curious about. I don't really know how exactly he wants to do things. He obviously knows about the friendship rainbow beam/power ups...maybe he wants the villains to have their own villainous beam of power to combat that friendship magic. I dunno.

This episode was a gem! 10/10! I loved it and how we got a thickening plot because of it!

Thats what I said when she made her first appearance last year! No one said anything after my comment and I am surprised more people haven't come to that conclusion!

Episode gets a 9 out of 10!!!

Wow! This may have been my favorite episode of the season and I really wasn't expecting that. I had too little faith but ended up loving the dynamic of the baddies.

I also think the goat bad guy is a lot smarter than we think. I bet he will plan ahead incase there is a mutiny. I expect in the last episode that he will have outsmarted the villains and the villains will side with the good guys for the greater good. That's just my guess. They will work together to take down goat guy.
