Alright so.......who here wants or already has kids?
-
I'm barely 18 and not even in college yet so....
-
Wow, wow, lets not jump ahead of ourselves here, Blurr.
-
It's just something I think about a lot. I know I want kids some day. I already have the names chosen and everything.
-
I won't be ready for a long while, I'm only 15.
-
Well someday I want a kid. A KID. I would like the line of Silverwing to continue.
-
The line of Silverwing XD
Yeah, well Blurr, you gotta get yourself a girl first :p
I want at least 2 kids, I don't want an only child. They tend to grow up spoiled or lonely. So I'd like my kid to have a playmate. I have one name picked out for a girl. Maybe a tentative name for a boy. Not completely sure though.
-
I'm in the category where i dont know yet im not sure.
-
Someday. Someday.
-
-
I want kids eventually. If that number hit 3 though I'd be getting a snip-snip done shortly after it was born. No more than that.
-
Newp, not for me. Just the four-legged kind.
-
Well to each their own. But someday little Violet or Arthur will be born. I swear it!
-
I can't help but cringe slightly, I don't know why. I just find it maybe odd that you'd name your future daughter after a childhood crush on an animated character. Imagine that conversation "Daddy, why am I named Violet?" "Well, daughter, I had a horn on for this animated character named Violet when I was a kid, and that's why your named Violet." XD (Of course I'm messing with you here with this mock conversation, but it does make me wonder for real). I hope whoever you end up with also likes Violet as a name. I know my parents disagreed at first with names before settling with my name now.
Arthur is a nice name though. Reminds me of the old books and show. Good show, good memories. My SO wants to name his future son Atlas, and I don't know how to feel about it. On the one hand, it's unique and has a bit of a ring to it, but on the other, it is a rather odd name for a child.

*shrug* (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlas_Shrugged)
Whether the name is drawn directly from ancient Greek mythology, or has a Randian influence, it does have a certain pretentiousness to it.
On the other hand, many attempts to pick unique or interesting names end up way worse. And it /could/ be a very cool name, if the kid can "wear it".

I'll just leave this here: http://i.imgur.com/OLoW6.jpg

... That could've gone so much worse.
-
Heh heh, nice.
I suppose it does, I mean, it is the name or a Titan. I mean, I could end up naming my kid South or something :P
If he can wear it, hmm, I guess that would be up to him.
-
Oh my god. That's terrible! But it could've been much worse XD
-
Yeah....no lol
-
Courage Wolf Harper......................................... go with Cory for short.
-
Courage I suppose isn't that bad. But the Wolf art. Sssss yeah no.

That's quite a heavy name to bear.
Could be worse. Your folks or elder siblings could have already picked out your kids' names for you. You know, family names, carrying on legacies of deceased relatives, tradition and all that.
-
Also I want my boys name to be Arthur because I've always been fascinated by the Arthurian legends. King Arthur, Merlin, the Knights of the round table, all that stuff.
-
Mm, that's pretty cool.
-
Mature themes, language.
-
Storks aren't real? What about the Easter Bunny? My world is falling apart.
-
What's next!? Is Santa fake too!?

What's next!? Is Santa fake too!?
Don't even bring up such possibilities!
-
Your right, your right.
He's obviously just as real as the leprechaun.
-
I totally want to dress up as Santa one year for my kids
-
Worlds skinnier Santa!
-
Yeah, talk about it. Worlds Skinniest Santa.
Should try it when they're super young. Like 2-4. Where they don't realize it's just daddy with a beard and a pillow under his shirt haha.
