MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Greetings my friends!  We are quickly descending upon the Christmas season.  It's about time to prep for the big one!  The biggest holiday of the year! 

What are you planning on doing this year?  What do you want for Christmas?  I am sure all this and more will be discussed at length here. :) 

Merry Christmas friends.  You know how to make the season bright and merry!

I got my tree up but it’s not real. I bought it on sale at target. I’d LOVE a real tree someday though

I use artificial as well.  Less mess and it's pre-lit.  I still add more lights to it though and decorations.

Those statements do stand true but having a real tree just provides a smidge of the holiday authenticity. The smell is just intoxicating. I haven't had that kind of feel since I was a kid.

I don't have an ugly sweater, but I have a poorly made scarf that I wear all the time.  I love it, it's warm, and it's crooked!  A little girl who used to live next door to me made it for me for Christmas.  She always really liked me for some reason and I watched her grow up and eventually her family and I moved to different places.  But I still wear this scarf she made for me so many years ago.

Merry Christmas!  It's great you took the time and effort for your gifts to others.  To me, my favorite part of Christmas is giving my gifts!  I truly don't even care if I get stuff, I just love seeing others get stuff!

I'll share tomorrow. All in all it was a great Christmas but we ran into a snag with travelling back. Usually it takes only 3 hours to drive from Fresno to my part of LA. But With the I-5 on the grapevine closed, EVERYONE had to find an alternate route to LA. The way around took 11 hours. I left at 1230 this afternoon and only got back an hour ago. So I'm gonna rest now and continue to beat myself up because I still need to finish my secret santa gift as well. Good night!
