I think I'm doing this right (sorry new to this whole system of posting and stuff ^^')

This is like my first art post on this forum, so I decided to draw my OC, Swift, for it. I'll end up drawing a bunch of characters later :P
Also, I'm trying to improve my art so if you have any constructive criticism, that'd be appreciated :D

I really like your style. Wonderful variations in lighting and color with the nice shading. Neat cutie mark. Apple would be pleased.

I like the shading and colors you picked out, and the little amount of sneezy mess was just perfect, and cute!

Angular, yet rounded. Great color usage and nice soft shading with elements of angular lighting. Very nice piece of art, Geniusartstuff.

I'm really glad you guys like my colouring style! Your compliments mean so much to me you don't even know! :D So happy that I came back to this forum!! :)
Hmm, more about my OC. There is a backstory I've developed over the years (since this is my first OC EVER) but I don't have a full written page on it. However, I can summarize the information that's needed here for now! ^w^ It was originally drawn as a representative of myself, the OC representing my love for traditional art and using the CC programs to make digital art (hence, the Apple thingy). Since her character has bits and snips from myself, she doesn't get sick often, but when she does, it hits HARD. Out for up to a week usually. Her sneezes aren't necessarily loud, but more sharp sounding or stifled.
And just a reply for Smiles2Us, my favourite things to draw! Hm, I do draw a TON of fanart, mostly anime (such a nerd) or OC art. :D I'll be drawing more MLP for this forum though, haha! The shading for my art usually takes a long time, so I'll try my best to finish new pieces and not procrastinate on making drawings here! ^^
And honestly, I am SO flattered by everyone's comments here!! I'm a huge fan of a bunch of you guys, and I'm really excited to talk to you all, as well as contribute more art here!
I hope I went through everything! I'm still trying to figure out how everything works here heheh, so sometimes my replies will be missing things or whatnot ^^;

This is great! A new artist with awesome new art! I really like your character and she looks really cool with those colors and those golden eyes. :) Also like you make use of a PONY-tail. :)
As for shading, it looks awesome. Just realize, you don't have to do masterpieces every single time. You can share doodles or anything you want. Doesn't have to be just ponies and doesn't have to be sneezing. Awesome work! Love seeing your style.

Also, I just love drawing/drawings of characters in scarves! They looks so cute and cozy! The little mess she's making and her red nose is also adorable!
