my iMac (the colorful ones)Uhm... Like this one?
Oh my gosh.... REMEMBER FRUIT ROLL UPS and FRUIT BY THE FOOT? Do they even still make those? I remember some fruit rolls had shapes and designs you could punch out and eat too. Fruit by the Foot was an actual foot long and came in many flavors and colors and the wrapper had jokes or trivia the entire length! Anyone else remember those?
Nostalgia for the green-PSF layout anyone? ;D Anyone happen to have any random images of it?
So when will people start feeling nostalgic for the 2000s or 2010s?
Remember party stores like Party City? Well soon you will be only remembering them. Party City just filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. It might not be long. Those aisles full of costumes, various colored balloons and party supplies, Silly plastic toys, all that might be disappearing. So go get some nostalgia at them before they are gone for good.
So when will people start feeling nostalgic for the 2000s or 2010s?Ugh, it'll take a while for me. Not the most stellar time for me, what with a mountain of rejection letters from publishers, a string of lousy jobs, failed relationships, high (for the day--1.50/gal) gas prices, and the ascension/election of Barack Obama. And let me tell you something else, me buckos-- [here the author of this post is whisked away and returned to the reeducation center to learn more sensitivity skills]
Nostalgia me!
Better yet, what will people of the 2020s even be nostalgic for?Well, I'm hoping Donald Trump will be hailed as the Teddy Roosevelt of our generation, or at least a Calvin Coolidge (though decidedly lacking his famous taciturness). But, yeah: Covid-19, C.H.O.P. zones (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitol_Hill_Occupied_Protest), cancel culture, men playing women's sports, the 2004 election seeing that dried-up old turd Biden supplanted by Kamala (https://www.amazon.com/107-Days-Kamala-Harris/dp/1668211653) the 100-day queen (https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=5f6e2b14e736ad95&rlz=1CAXGER_enUS782US783&sxsrf=ANbL-n4IsruwSZ6NrW4vvPFvbzQ3WLi3gQ%3A1780197705928&q=lady+jane+grey&oq=lady+jane+grey&aqs=heirloom-srp..0l5), Charlie Kirk's assassination--the first quarter of the twenty-first century reads like a Billy Joel song in Hell.
Nostalgia me!
The smell of a can of Play Doh or the scent of Elmer's glue from arts and crafts!
One of those rare ones where nostalgia is gleamed from your sense of smell!Oh, the smell of PVA-based glues is indeed one of the memories from the school years ;D.

We were PEAK teenagers. Always hung out with this group of friends and occasionally we'd meet other groups there. There was this one boy, "the bad boy" that we all had a crush on.So did any of you cowgirls end up with that stallion, or is he the one that got away? Just hope none of you were one of those girls who got pregnant when she was fifteen... it's like, you see her in Spanish class, note how big she's gotten, and think "Cripes, hope her water doesn't break between the"antes de la clase" and "¿como te llamas?"
