Oh yeah! This is great, Paws! So happy to see you! Also, I am happy to see Dolly Duster again! I really hope you do more with her.
Oh yeah, our Secret Santa stuff! I better get that stuff out. :) Soda is gonna flip when she see's how awesome those are! They are AWESOME. :)
-
Oh my gosh! She is so adorable, Paws! I absolutely LOVE how you gave Soda that super cute grin, and the one with the reindeer antlers was super cute! She would love that Christmas give! I hope she comes on to see it. Oh, and how can I forgot the super cute sneezy build up!
I know last years Secret Santa Christmas is kind of ruined and messed up, but hopefully people can still release what they have for people. :)
Thanks for sharing all your artwork! Have always loved your varied drawings and super awesome characters. Make sure you bonk Erudi on the head to get over here too. ;) I love your guy's collabs!
-
OH MY GOD!! RAINBERRY!!!! You're here!
*clears throat* Sorry. Nice work Paws! Good to have all your art in one place for us :D
I love the secret Santa you did for Soda, she just looks so adorable in your style.
-
These are all real 10/10! I still think that the animation is top notch!
A lotta them are top notch!
-
That animation was awesome, as was everything else.
I was really happy to see that Soda pic. :) You did a stellar job on that!
-
*Hugs Paws* Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I can't believe you did that as a Xmas gift for me! I can not thank you enough for your kindness! Not only did you make me one thing, but you made me MULTIPLE! Merry Christmas to you Paws and thanks so much. They all look so wonderful and I LOVE the shading and AHHH! I love it all so much thank you! :)
-
Wahh, Soda -- you're back! You're finally back!! *hugs tight* You're sooo welcome for the gifts! :D It was so much fun putting it all together for you. I gasped when I saw your icon. x3
@Everyone else -- thank you all so, SO much!! <3

She has the cutest face on her! I am saving these pics, I love them so much! I really wish I had something for you. Secret Santa's make feelings so conflicted! So happy, but then often the person who gives you something, you have nothing for them! :-/ I will see if I can get something for you too! You have really made my week! These are some of my fav pics ever! :D
-
These are so great, Paws! You got an amazing talent, and every time I look over your work, even stuff I have seen, I always find something new to appreciate. I just love the faces of your characters. They seem so lovable and cheery.

I'm almost infamous for leaving long, detailed comments...and here's gonna be another long one ;) I want to say things now that I look at them again :D
Gone Wrong-The coloring is simple, pleasing to the eye, and just all around a fun comic with a scenario I wish was more common! :D Giantess characters are not drawn often :( but the size difference here is adorable to see and I love how you were able to draw different views of the character and her face. Also big props to the ending :D That was awesome to me.
Skye Sneezy Teasy-I don't know why exactly, but I blush so hard and smile when I see this one :D It's a really pretty set up the way you did her maid marian outfit, and there's something about the side view with her itchy nose that's really sweet to see.
IBYHD-This. THIS. The adventurous misadventure and once again, the simple and really cute single word ending was a really great way to end this misadventure. There's too many things to say about this comic...but just know this: I love it. I really, really love it :D Also, I notice a small part is your new icon picture ;)
TSS-I freakin love this scenario. It's something That So Raven, Scooby Doo, and a few other shows did, but I don't care. It's still an amazing scenario and just look at that trickster! :D This comic made me so, so happy when I first saw it, and it still makes me happy seeing it ^^
SW-A fun, unique, and slick sneezing picture. It's not a common thing, but I love it anyway ;) Zoe, your design is approved in my book ^^
Lily PP-When I first saw this, I couldn't help but say and think and feel "awwwwwww!!!" Now that I see it again, my mind agrees with the comment I posted on DA with this picture: your artwork has improved. Your expressions, designs, and your hard work all are CLEARLY shown with just this one picture, let alone what you have done since this artwork! I'm happy you are drawing. I'm even more happy that you seem to be really happy when you draw what you want to draw! :D Keep on drawing whatever you want to *hugs you*
Lily LS-I can't believe I didn't see this or comment on it on DA 0_0...well...this makes me even more glad I'm taking time out of my night tonight to write this long comment! ;) Paws, this is a fun looking, sweet lineart sketch that just screams "I'm drawing what I want and having fun doing it" XD Seriously, this isn't detailed and honestly doesn't need to be! :D It's great the way it is. Lily in this design looks great, and I like how her nose is drawn here. It isn't just the nose itself I notice. You know how I mentioned your hard work is clearly shown? Even in this sketch, I can tell that the way you did her mouth and her muzzle shape are very nicely drawn :D
Dragon fly ;) - I've said a long comment about this guy before, so I won't say it again...but SWEET MERCY ALIVE! *faints* I love how this looks. I took an animation class in high school. Animation is super, super hard for me =( I couldn't make even a bouncy ball look right animated during my entire animation class ^^; (still got an A in that class though XDD) This animation is smooth, clear, and it's very, very entertaining to see a dragon in your art style as well as some sneeziness. I haven't seen you draw hardly any dragons before, and this was an awesome thing to see to me :) His nostrils, the moving fly, the mouth, the smoke and sneeze itself, and the eyes. All of this was something I really, really liked ^^
CCS-I don't even need to ask you who you drew this for ;). I know exactly who it is for without reading the title. Judging by that title, he was probably pushy to you or something =( That being said, this sketch looks great to me. I love how you did her horn, that hairstyle, and I see the details of how her long tail is wrapping around her leg while she sneezes, the sneeze is really strong looking, her nostrils are flared and tickly by the look of them, and I really like the small detail of the flower in her ear :) The way how you sketched different colored lines for her clothing make her design in your own art style stand out. I love how this sketch turned out! :D
Joan and the sniffles- I have no clue who this lady is, and I don't know how you thought of this silly sneezy idea, but it's brilliant!!! :D I often wonder how some girls in college pull out hankerchiefs or tissues so quickly ;) No in all seriousness though, this short comic thing looks downright awesome. I love her design, the hair, her eyes, and that itchy nose combined with this scenario just works so, SO WELL! :D
(Oh boy...*pant* just a few more! ;) XDD)
SU collab 1: ITAET- Honestly, SO MUCH LOVE for both of the main characters of the comic. Peridot gets a ton of sneezy attention, and for good reason, but I love Lapis Lazuli and seeing her in different sneezy situations, first with sneezing while hiding, and then having to explain a sneeze to the nerdy peri, and also having a stuck sneeze that comes out after refusing at first, and then to top it all off Peri herself catches a cold? This was pure joy to see back when you first shared it, and reading it again, it's pure joy now :D It's also really interesting seeing your and Erudi's style side by side like this. It was drawn a little while ago, but it's still really well drawn and I love it :)
Su collab 2: CF-Pearl is honestly my favorite main gem character. Amethyst has the coolest design and the sweet whip, while Garnet has the most interesting backstory and most interesting powers, but Pearl is a gem that fascinates me. That, combined with my personal favorite design out of the main gems, and she's my favorite main gem. Connie may be my favorite main character...and seeing her fuse with Stephen into their own fusion tall lady made me daydream of a similar situation as this comic *blush* Seriously, this idea you had here. It's amazing to see. Combine the amazing idea with how you and Erudi drew the many eye expressions at the same time, the long tickly nose, and how Garnet's reaction at the end was forgiving and Amethyst was a taunting reaction, this comic was just plain awesome all the way :)
SU collab 3-The fun one ;)
Honestly, this seemed like the most fun and competely original idea for a comic I've seen in a long, long time. A daydream about sneezing and the ending/reality realization was also sneezing related! :D Plus who can't smile at the ending of this comic? That wink Erudi...that wink XD Plus, it looks like you both had a TON of fun with Peridot's face expressions :D There's also one thing I really need to point out: anger Erudi face expressions. I don't see Erudi look mad very often, but both of you truly did an awesome job showing Erudi's angry side, even if it was just in a dream ;).
All of your DD sketches :D - What can I say that hasn't already been said? Seriously, I can only just agree with what others here have said :) She's an awesome OC Paws ^^
And last, but certainly not least......*drumroll* SODA- Just...just look at it. She's really happy about how it turned out, she's even made part of it her profile picture and it hasn't even been a day since she's seen it! ;) I can't say much else either about this one that other people haven't already said. Just know I love the Soda pics too :)
*faints and slowly fades away* even among my comments, this one took a lot out of me ^^;. Still, I mean what I said with each part of this post. I love your artwork Paws. It's always fun and sweet seeing anything you draw, sneezy or not sneeze-related :) Keep on drawing whatever you desire to draw. Be happy, and don't stress too much *hugs you tightly* I've been around for a few years now and you've been an amazing support to me ever since day one. If it wasn't for you on sneezefurs and a few others on sneezefurs, I wouldn't have been here or anywhere online today :) I seriously mean that too. My friends are the reason I came back after I returned home from my church mission, and I really appreciate you Paws along with all my friends.
Thank you for posting all of these things on one post. It must've taken you time to find them, so it's the least I can do to comment on all of them too ;)....but seriously though, this comment took forever to write XDD I don't think I'll be able to write a comment this long again.
-
^ You rock. You really do. You just totally made Paws day. Artists love that.
-
Aww, SS! You leave the best comments, because there's always so much thought in them, and so much I could go back and respond to. Thank you for always doing that, even though I'm not always the best at replying in a timely manner. <3
I'd go through this whole thing and reply if it wouldn't take all day, so instead, I'll pick some things out.
IBYHD-This. THIS. The adventurous misadventure and once again, the simple and really cute single word ending was a really great way to end this misadventure. Thanks. <33 It truly makes me happy that so many people love this -- I put so much work into it and it paid off in a huge way. Same goes for the sentiments over the animation -- though I wasn't paid to make that one.
TSS-I freakin love this scenario. It's something That So Raven, Scooby Doo, and a few other shows did, but I don't care. It's still an amazing scenario and just look at that trickster! :D This comic made me so, so happy when I first saw it, and it still makes me happy seeing it ^^
x3 I'm happy that it made YOU happy!! The entire span of time revolving around when I first got the idea was one of the busiest and most incredible times in my life. Perhaps I'll share my story of where the specific inspiration for this comic came from one day; it's on my blog, after all. I'm actually thinking about doing a little "sequel" comic to this sometime soon!
CCS-I don't even need to ask you who you drew this for ;). I know exactly who it is for without reading the title. I love how this sketch turned out! :D
It was a combination of him pushing and me just not having the time to be able to work and meet his demands, unfortunately. If I was in a position where I was able to make time to work on this for him (which at the time could not have happened even if I tried), I probably would have put up with his nonsense because he was paying me pretty well for this and the comic he asked me for. My strategy when I started was pretty much "bow your head and do it, and if he gets to be too much of a problem or rips you a new one over nothing, you can always block him." But then I kept getting busier and busier and, well, you know the story.
Joan is a character from the adorable musical farce Dames at Sea (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kal6lIB0kCA) that was just recently on the B'way for about 5 months. It closed in the beginning of this month, but I had seen it back in December and was thoroughly charmed by it. Joan is chipper and wisecracking (she's actually the one singing in the video linked), and one of her defining character traits in the show is that she carries a hankie around in her shirt for other characters. There's one point where she gives it to the main character (Ruby) so she can blow her nose with it after she's been crying, and I was silently freaking out in my seat.
As for the art style, I did actual fanart for the three main ladies (https://www.instagram.com/p/_P8FRwoVD4/?taken-by=dramadoodles) in the style of 1930s cartoons, as that's the general aesthetic of the show and what they're parodying. So I decided to keep that prevalent when I did this. c:
Again, I can't thank you enough for a comment of this length and substance. It definitely made my day. <333

The 1930s style is really cool by the way. :)

THose SU comics were too cute

This whole topic is wonderful. It really is. I also really like that latest link you shared too. I love 20s/30s style and the time period. I just find it cool people all dressed up just to go to town! I like noir.
