Title: Life is fragile
Post by: mysteryserpent on 2016-04-17 10:13:14
No. It's not me XD...but it was someone I knew. A classmate who lived in the same building. Just showing the link. Be warned: it's not for the faint of heart. Don't read it if you don't want to.

I'm sorry about your classmate. :( I hope everything will turn out fine.

That's terrible. To hear such a sickening sound, it's awful.

I hope he wasn't trying to commit suicide, in my head I'm thinking he wasn't since jumping out a closed window is a bit odd, but then again, what sort of situation was he in that he just fell through a closed window. I'm hoping there wasn't any foul play.

My regards to your classmate, I hope he'll be alright.

Prayers to that classmate and their family.

It is sad that people get to that point, that stage in life.  How do they get that lonely, that they feel their life is not worth living?  It makes me sad to see that.

That is pretty real stuff.  You okay, Mysteryserpent?

Prayers and thoughts go out to the family.  Do you know any motives yet?

Oh my gosh!  That is horrendous!  That must have really shaken you up... to hear the sound of a body.  Living.  Errr.... I don't like even thinking about it.

On TV, it is so mindless to see people get injured or killed or whatever... but when it is real... it's REAL.  :-/

I hate hearing this and I bring my condolences to the table to the family of their lost love.  Are you alright, Mysteryserpent?  That is pretty big to deal with yourself.

*Squeezes you in a huggable way.*

Not gonna lie, I was pretty shaken ^^; I had to talk to some of my close friends here on campus and I contacted my parents. I feel a lot better today and it isn't as heavy on my mind anymore. I will be alright :)

Seriously though, thank you guys for your concern for me and for that guy that you don't even know. That means a lot :)

Some details have come up, but they're all rumors for now. No facts yet.

I am also sure the school has set up some counsellors if your need them.  That is some pretty heavy stuff.  We are here if you need us.  I've experienced something similar if you care to discuss, just contact me.

Update: he got moved to SLC (Salt Lake City) hospital and he's alive. I'm kind of shocked they didn't treat him in the local hospital here in northern Utah where I go to school, but I guess it is because SLC has better medical staff people down there or his body was hurt a lot. Either way, I'm glad that he's alive.

Well, they usually move people because they local hospital isn't good enough.
They want him to live so they are going to send him to the hospital with the best treatment available.

Good to hear he's alive.

Thankfully he is still alive and can hopefully recover.  I really hope it was some weird freak accident.

Bigger cities tend to have better healthcare programs, so that is probably why they took him to the biggest city in the state.

That shook me up a lot, too. Just the fact that it happened pretty much in front of you like that, so I assume. It's one thing to hear about it in the news but to witness it, hearing it, and being so close.. that's enough to leave some mental scars. At least, it would for me, anyway.
