So some peeps here have been reposting some of their older stuff, at least, from what I've seen, and lately I've been redrawing a very old character (From like...8th grade? 9th grade? About 8 or so years ago for reference)! She's a part of a very small collection of characters that I decided to fully redesign one day. I did this a few weeks ago but never shared it here, mostly because I wasn't sure how interested people would be in it.
But now I've decided to post them here anyway cuz... I'm bored!

So! Starting off with someone from 6th grade, we have "Vorthok the Puppet (https://www.deviantart.com/fullmetalpikmin/art/Viktor-the-Puppet-6th-Grade-Redraw-854397215)". Now, as you can probably tell, "Vorthok" doesn't mean crap. It means. NOTHING. NOTHING.
I just put a bunch of sounds together and was like "Yeah that sounds cool!"
I was like...11 or 12 at the time, gimme me a break!
So, I renamed him to "Viktor"!
Next, we have a character I called "Marie (https://www.deviantart.com/fullmetalpikmin/art/Marie-8th-9th-Grade-Redraw-854397636)". I dunno her last name, but uh... it was probably really bad lmao. This is the character I mentioned that I've been redrawing!
I was in around 8th or 9th grade when I made her. And honestly, I REALLY like the new design I gave her! In the link you'll see 2 pictures of her, a school uniform and a combat/casual outfit. The redraw is just a school uniform, but I recently totally remade her combat uniform, and I LOVE how it turned out! The character's redesign as a whole was inspired by Maka from Soul Eater (and as a lot of y'all know from many years back, I love Maka, so :P), and Robin from Fire Emblem (Who I have established a clear liking to :P)!
Originally, when I came up with this character, she was influenced a lot by Maka and the general style of the Kingdom Hearts series, so there's a little fun fact!
Finally we have a character who's name was originally "Emily Shirousagi (https://www.deviantart.com/fullmetalpikmin/art/Margaret-9th-Grade-Redraw-854398087)". I changed her name to "Margaret", as I really don't like the name I originally gave her. Her name is inspired/influenced by Margaret Moonlight from No More Heroes 2. I figured it sort of fit with her character, so that's why I changed it. If you search deep into my DeviantART, you can actually see some original drawings of this character. All I really did to her was I aged her up a bit and gave her A N A T O M Y.

Well, Marie got some A N A T O M Y too ;D. On combat outfit picture her expression looks like she is just learning how to wield that scythe.

I really enjoyed going through that. The anime inspiration was always there, but you've honed the skills over time. I love seeing artists share their work through the years! Good topic.

Seeing how someone got better at drawing over the years is always fascinating to me!
My favorite drawing of these is Marie in combat uniform! But all of them are really good! Keep up the hard work!
