They didn't learn from their other past horrid remakes?

*Looks at how much money those horrible remakes made.*  Oh gosh... Shoot me...They made more money than the originals... WHY ARE PEOPLE BUYING INTO THIS CRAP?

Inflation and people thinking seeing a modernization of their fave classics will recapture their youth.

Oh my gosh.  You got to be kidding me!

It would be one thing if these films were actually good, but I haven't seen them getting that high of marks.  But they are making mucho money... so I guess Disney doesn't care.  They can put in low effort and people will throw money at it.  Kinda like their Star Wars IP.

Don't get me started on that...

STAR....WARS.... DISNEY.

................WAS A TRAVESTY! Look I'm not gonna say the prequels are magnificent pieces of cinematic art. Because they're not. Everyone knows that. But they are amazing compared to what Disney shat out. There was no clear direction the company wanted the films to go. They just wanted Star Wars films produced for one reason; money. That killed it. The films had no heart, no depth, no nothing. By the time episode 9 was done.....well so was I.

Oh gosh... Disney RUINED Star Wars!  Absolutely ruined it.  Everywhere you turn it's now just this family-friendly marketing crap.  Baby Yoda everywhere... GOSH. I hate it!  They just threw movies out there with no passion or soul and they just seemed so empty.  And on top of the movies, they have tons of tv shows now.... like... how do you even keep up with it all? :(  Ruined.

And now I see Disney wants to ruin some other Disney classics.

I'm not crapping on Mandalorian. That's actually a very good show and I will continue to follow it. Why? Because it has soul! It doesn't rely on marketing or anything like that. Sure maybe it has some marketing here and there but that's every show these days. Gotta sell toys and shit. But the way Mandalorian does it it so investing. Visual storytelling, letting moments sink in and the weight of a situation sinking in, it's grand and beautiful to watch.

So to me, Star Wars itself isn't ruined. I just think the recent movies suck. In my head I don't consider them canon. XP

Oh, this isn't a joke...? I thought it was some know-nothing millennial studio head who got "Leslie Nielsen" and "Liam Neeson" confused: (Valley accent) "Oh, so you're not, like, related, or some such? Like, it's a totally different last name? Cha. Grody. Okay, so, like, um, will you still totes do it, then?"

Huh. Okay. Reboot. Fun. ...Oh, hey, maybe they can get O.J. Simpson to come back as well!...
(crickets chirping, followed by a flatulent sound)

Yeah, didn't think so....     ;)

Why would they want Liam Neeson.  He couldn't be half as good as Leslie Nielsen.
