"Newbie Dash" is the 124th episode of MLP:FiM. It is episode 7 of the 6th season. It will premier May 7, 2016.
"Rainbow Dash finally joins the Wonderbolts, but makes a bad first impression."

Liked it. It had its funny moments. ;D
And I "hnnng"ed at RD doing her impression of Fluttershy.

Why is there no links to the episode on EQD? I wanna watch it!
-
Check DailyMotion or YouTube. It's where my BF watched it.
-
I'll check for it on Youtube.

It was overall a good episode. Nothing ground breaking, and I feel Dash was somewhat out of character or insecure. She just tried to be accepted and cool so much, she got desperate.
-
I would give it a solid 7 out of 10.

This was a hard episode to go at.
Who was this episode aiming at. I don't think the majority of bronies or the traditional younger audience really understand the unique bonds one can make in a sports team or the military, which the Wonderbolts are kinda replicating. Heck, to some, the episode probably triggered some real life bullying flashbacks.
Though what this episode was aiming at to some degree was that making fun of each other is a sign of respect. I can tell you that at my work, my team tend to knock each other around verbally, but I can say 100% that if I didn't like you, I wouldn't be ribbing you. I would just avoid talking to you.
I know that isn't the full morale or point of the episode, but it is there, and I discussed it.
Enjoy this screen cap.

I think that's the problem. Most bronies wouldn't know the unique bonds sports teams have. And thus, are tearing this episode apart, out for the Wonderbolts blood. Because apparently it's okay for Rainbow to call Twilight an Egghead, but it's beyond monstrous for the Wonderbolts to tease Rainbow. Give me a break.
But that screen cap. What the hell Rainbow XD

There were some pretty derp faces in tgis episode. It waz pretty funny. Scootaloo had one too.
-
Scootaloo's face at the beginning was glorious XD

Lets tear this place APART!!!

Dashie' impersonations were kind of cringey and out of left field. Overall I liked it though. Bluefast's relation to the Wonderbolts has been kind of left hanging, so it was good to finally tie up that loose end and establish that she's definitely part of them now. Kinda nice that it doesn't mean she's leaving the mane6 or Ponyville, though that would've been a nice send-off for her storyline at the end of the series.
I also thought the lesson worked well outside of team-oriented things though--I know when I was pretty young I had a hard time for a while getting the difference between ribbing and outright taunting, so I could see it being useful even for those not on sports teams or whatever.

I laughed when Rainbow Dash imitated Applejack... mostly because Ashleigh Ball had to work a bit to convincingly parody herself.
Spitfire's nickname is so embarrassing she can't even say it out loud. You kind of have to wonder what she did to deserve it....

Spit Roast :P
But I found it so amusing when Rainbow suddenly grew buck teeth. That was just great. Randomly growing hick teeth haha.

Spit Roast :P
And she tells her parents it's because her first day of training camp she ate a lot of barbecue at lunch ... but everybody knows different. ::) ;)
-
Or ate a lot of shish-kabob. But we all know the truth :P

This episode was good, but it was just missing that extra push I was hopeing for. I don't even know what that push could be, but it just lacked in something. I liked the characters in it though. 7/10.
