Really nice. You played around and rounded her out, gate her slightly chubbier cheeks. She looks very pre-sneezy. Great nostrils. Cute eyes.

I went to look at the MLPS, and was shocked to find we have NO sneeze art of her. None, zip, zilch! How did we never have her draw her till 2016?

Okay, I really love both expressions here, there's so much to say. I love her cute nostril flare in the first image. By her expression you can tell that it's the beginning of her pre sneeze. I really like how you can tell the difference even with how her eyes are closed. Like the first one has them more loosely closed because you can see her eyelid, but then in the second one her eyebrows are sharply turned up, her eyes squeezed shut, and her mouth is wide open in anticipation for that sneeze. I can even imagine her hoof waving in front of her face like "come on, come on". This is just, so adorable, the shading is very nicely and subtly done too. Just another great piece by you, Rainy.

Rainy, you sculpt so many different styles it is awesome. You put your mind to something and you do it. Your art varies all the time and it is always exciting to see what you come up with. Amethyst Star looks so adorable here, from her first sign of a sneeze, to later in that progression. Soon cute!

................I'm gonna sound stupid, because I know I've seen this design/colors before but...I have no clue who she is. Is she an OC or is she a background pony I just can't remember?
Either way, when a pretty lady/mare has a tease, she's got a tease ;) Those itchy, sniffly nostrils and her mouth expressions here look awesome to me. Great job with her eyes too.

She's a lovely background pony who was even given lines in the episode Slice of Life. She's the pony who was the town organizer before Twilight showed up and put her out of a job XP

Thank you for letting me know :) I didn't remember her...honestly I don't remember that episode much at all. There's been so many episodes and I haven't seen all of them ^^; I think that based on what you just said though, if I were her I'd be kind of upset with Twilight but maybe she's not that kind of pony to hold grudges XD. (I'd hate to be kicked out of a job ^^; )

The episode was pretty fast paced and she was in it for a second. So it's understandable.
And eh, I was mostly exaggerating haha, but one can infer that's what happened after being town organizer went to Twilight. But she seems more determined than angry. So she's a chill mare, which is cool :)

I wish they would give her more air time. She seems like an interesting character. She just accepted that Twi put her out of a job. Now she is homeless, poor, and eats scraps. ;)

Lol, but horses can eat grass right? It's practically impossible to go hungry for them!
But yeah, I've always had a big backstory for her that wrapped in with my backstory for these two other background ponies. I'm that weird person who makes back stories... Yeah.

Well, I've always loved this background pony called Applejack lol I'm kidding. No I've always loved Carrot Top, this girl: https://derpibooru.org/961241. Reason for this was because we always saw her with this guy at the train station nuzzling and shit: https://derpibooru.org/1081422. And we'd often see little Dinky hanging with them: https://derpibooru.org/121631. So I headcanon'd that Dinky was their daughter. But then we find out that Dinky and Amethyst Star are sisters, which in my headcanon meant that Amethyst was also their daughter. And there's a lot more too it, but basic gist of it.

Holy moley! That is one crazy story that can be made out of that. Though, not to bash your fun head canon, I always thought Amethyst was in the same age range as Carrot Top..... Sorry, I will stop. ;) No, no, thats cool though! I bet you have tons of great ideas.

I mean, take Twilight's mom for example, they're the same body size and shape despite there AT LEAST being some 20 years difference between them. But everyone headcanons different things, it's why it's headcanon ^^
