I'm still out of it, my soul is still mourning.
A dear friend of mine with a heart of gold and everyone knew him.
Then suddenly we got to know, he had a tumor in his brain, but he was going in for surgery and everything seemed fine... The surgery went fine.
But then... we got the news.... he had lost his battle with his brain cancer....
But why everything went fine...
We got to know that he had more tumors in his brain... his body couldn't fight it all... he died fighting the cancer...
His funeral was on the 8th of July... he's in Valhalla now, yes not heaven, he is in Valhalla cause his faith lied with the norse gods.
I have deep connections with my norse gods too it's my roots...
F*UCK cancer...
But now you know about why I've been so absent lately

Holy shit I'm so sorry

My sincerest and deepest condolences, Umeko.

Im sorry. If there is one thing that should go away it is cancer. It takes too many.
-
My deepest sympathies. My prayers go out to them and their loved ones.
-
I hate you cancer. You tear so many apart senselessly.
-
My condolences. Cancer takes thousands of people's lives everyday. It's always heartbreaking when it takes someone you know and love dearly.
-
Sorry to hear that. :(

While we're at it... f(loud fart sound (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOOp-Fr8LtE&t=374s)) heart disease as well. I've lost family members to both, and it's terrible and frightening. The only small mercy with cancer is that the patient's long, slow months of suffering will end. A heart attack can kill without warning and leave a family unprepared for the future.

What if I told you I myself had cancer?....Yeah I'd be a liar, but in all reality, I've seen cancer and had one of my closest friend's mother pass away when we were both 10. Cancer is something that is dark and not something to be taken lightly at all.
*hugs Umeko* I'm glad you supported your friend by going to their funeral service. Rest in Peace.
