Anyone like this show? It's one of my favorites on Netflix right now.
-
I adore it. I think S3 was not as strong as S2, but then S2 was very, very strong.
-
I've never seen it, I will have to give it a try.
-
S3 was all over the place, yea. S2 is still my favorite but S1 had a lot more sad moments I felt ("Happy Birthday, you're 40!" sticks out the most)
-
I can't quite put my finger on what was wrong in S3. It did not feel nearly as "tight" as S2 or the back half of S1. Still had lots of good bits in it, but I'm also beginning to worry that they only have a few sad notes that they know how to ring, and they're starting to show their repetitiveness.
But the back half of S1 and all of S2 are amongst my favorite bits of television, I think. Much love.

I love it. :D All I can say is I really did. I binged all of Season 3 in just two days after it premiered. <3
Princess Carolyn ftw.
-
I've heard nothing but good things about this series. Is it shown anywhere else legally other then Netflix? I did some searching but it does not appear so. :-(
-
I love it. <3
So glad there's others who enjoy it as much as I do. :3 Definitely one of the few to get adult cartoons right in awhile, heh.
Princess Caroline my waifu lol

I think it's on purpose. Bojack's entire life is a spiral of trying to do better then destroying it because he feels like he doesn't deserve it.
S3 had that whole side arc with Todd that sort of felt dumb to me.

When's Season 4? I heard it was confirmed. I haven't checked any news in awhile.
-
I'm not sure. Tba, still I think.
I just binged the last half of season one. Hilarious shit man. But also sad. Glad I have Netflix so I could watch this gem of a show. I really do enjoy it. Will start S2 after finals.
-
I'm curious how Season 4 will turn out. :3 Don't wanna spoil the rest for ya up until that point, but I'd say it's definitely a wild ride. XD
-
There any eta on season 4?
-
It is expected to air summer 2017 (http://deadline.com/2016/07/bojack-horseman-renewed-season-4-netflix-1201790852/).
-
I finished all of BoJack a bit back and shit man.
Shiiiiit.
Also, I hear they want to include stuff about Trump and stuff for S5. so that's gonna be fuuuuuuun.
-
I kinda want Bojack to stay away from Trump-related humor, hopefully that doesn't pass. Part of the appeal of the show for me is that it's all about the threads of all the characters on the show and their ups, downs, ways of life, etc. if you know what I mean.
Not that I don't mind Trump humor but South Park did all that already with Mr. Harrison for a whole season. Bojack the series to me feels like a character study; if they gotta do Trump jokes keep it to a minimum.
i know that's just a rumor, but here's hoping imo that it kinda stays that way.
-
I thought the creators outright said they were gonna do it. Not humor exactly but explore how politics affect relationships. We all know Diane would be the type to bash on Trump or something.
-
Ah, okay. Well if it's that, then it should be good. ^^ Mr. Peanutbutter would make good comedic foil for that kind of situation.
-
It is interesting. I'm a bit wary, as I watch shows to kind of, forget about my life. But if they do it well it seems like it'll be fun. And yeah, Mr. Peanutbutter is a good dog.

This thread could use a bit of a bump as Season 4 dropped not long ago. (A week ago, in fact), around the same time as the new It movie and Season 7 of Walking Dead on Netflix.
What'd you guys think of Season 4 of Bojack? It was a pretty incredible ride from start to finish, in all honesty. Their best one to date. Paws and I and another user discussed it at length on deviantArt, but wanted to hear what you guys thought.

I watched the first season and it was good, but then I sort off out interest in the second season? :P I don't know if that was just me or not. I should get back on it and try it out more. Was season 2 kind of a dud overall? It just didn't feel as deep and refreshing as season one.
