The very talented Kate360 made this pre-sneeze picture of Sasha Spaniel, a cocker spaniel! The character is by Megacycle! I love that pre-sneeze face and those massive nostrils! They are huge! Kate is such a wonderful artist and it has been so much fun watching her talent grow over the years!

Awesome pre-sneeze! Man I would love to see the release! Lol! Kate's great!

Fabulous drawing! Wow! That feather is doing its job teasing and tickling that nose to within millimeters of exploding out a sneeze!
Note her nose isn't full of mucus from this, so she seems to have a clean nose!
-
Look at those massive nose holes! You could literally grab her by her nostrils (don't do that, it's rude) and pull her towards you to sneeze in your face! Imagine how her nose would feel quivering and flaring those massive nostrils if you could press her hand to her snout. I would imagine the sneeze would produce a ton of fast moving air blasting out her nostrils!
[excited]

I <3 how you wrote all that! Wow!

More safe sneeze in that case! ;D
Anyway, I don't recommend to stay on the way of the sneeze blast... her release must be loud enough to hear from the safe distance. Holding the feather with a telekinesis is also a good safety measure ;D.
Also, whatever she is wearing, it looks lightweight and stretchy enough to allow her inhale the huge mass of air freely.

I would assume her sneeze produces a big strong rush of air out of her nostrils! Probably very strong!

Kate360's always had a knack for drawing characters with really big, flaring nostrils. Most of her drawings feature excessively snotty noses, but I'm glad Sasha's huge nostrils are clean, as hers and those of all the other characters this artist makes look like they'd be really fun to play with and feel all around with my fingers! I imagine Sasha wouldn't appreciate that very much unless it was for some aftercare following her sneeze, though.

Wonderful nostrils! I love that build up and her chest is already puffing up getting ready for a big release!

Fabulous build up and nose! Wow! Look at all that nose detail! :D

Fabulous nose details. The reddening is awesome!
-
Incredible nose! Wow! :D A good looking build up.

As everyone else has said, great build up and amazing nose. I wonder what a sneeze from this nose would look like? I expect a massive rush of air blasting from both nostrils. Some wetness involved.

Stellar! I love it. Really great character design and beautiful nostrils!

Interesting how the nose bit doesn't fully wrap around the nostril. Is that normal in dogs? I've never really noticed.

I'm pretty sure that's just Kate's art style; there aren't any real dogs I know where the nostrils can open that fully at the sides. The nostrils do remind me of a fan species made up by the artist Quosteroo, though, called swamp dragons.

Yes, it is. They release extra air through the slits in the side of the nose to prevent dilution of scents entering the nostrils, sharpening smell focus. [1 (https://schertzanimalhospital.com/blog/dog-nose-slits-what-do-they-do/)] It's why, even from great distances, they can smell a bag of drugs... hidden inside of an apple... that is in a basket full of apples... in a large room filled with other baskets of apples... with, um, skin cancer. *

Those nostrils like that make me think of a bat's nose.

Stunning nostrils. So massive. She could probably suck in a full sized bird if she isn't careful, lol!

Whah! What a nose!!
