I don't know. Not really feeling it. But hey, here is my first pic of 2017. I think I squished her body too much from the force of the sneeze. Thoughts and criticisms welcome.

Should've called it "Rainbow Dash Explodes". XD
I don't think it's a bad pic at all. Nice sneeze. :)

*Fist bumps Numbers*
Thank you.

Hmm, very nice. I can see where you're feeling iffy. Not sure if it looks odd because of being too squished, because there aren't like squish lines, so it just kinda looks like her body is too short. But nice splash and mess. Very dank.
-
I think her head looks too big, and it's hard to tell, but her body is somewhat angled to the ... *Shifts perspective in my head* to the right. So she looks even shorter because of that. Maybe I should have just stuck with the same boring angle the show always sticks with.
-
I see what you mean, APD. It's good, but it might be the angling of her back end that makes it odd. You can tell if you look closely her rump is turned a different direction then the rest of her, but a passing glance, which most people do, won't notice that.
-
Yeah, I will stick to the old angles of the yo olde tyme. Thank you for your input.
-
What is cool is you new "Design cue" in the explosive sneezes, which literally have explosive lines around the nose. I think that is kinda neat. :) I might have to employ that due a bit and see what happens. I have a bunch of art I wanted to share today, but you beat me to it.
-
Dude, go share your stuff. I'm all cool with that. I'd be fine with this pic being buried, because the more I look at it, the more I dislike it.
Thank you about the explosive sneeze lines. I just sort of picked that up.
-
Alright, cool. I got some jazz to post.
-
Find this picture really cute nice colour and sneeze.
-
Thank you, Jolteon! Glad you like it.
-
I don't see anything wrong with this. It's very good and well done. Thank you for posting it, APD!
-
Hey looks guys, it's Rainbow Crash! *Points and laughs* Harr harr harr!
Liking this one, APD. I don't know where you are coming from with this one not being "up to par" or whatever, because I think it looks great.

Going back and rereading comments, because I'm a creep. I can't help but feel there's some resentment in there? Or bitterness? Salt? It just seemed a bit odd from you when I first read it but didn't get to comment. Are you okay?

Lol! Thanks for asking, but I am just fine! I was grumbling because it seems like all the shows with FLASH, they also use sort of that side angle for everything on characters. Rarely do they move around naturally or spin naturally. It's always that quarter angle.
-
APD! This is wonderful though! I really like it and I think her sneeze looks explosive! I always enjoy a good Rainbow Dash sneeze.
-
Well Flash only alows them to work with 3 angles. Side, front, and 3/4's. Notice how when Rarity spins or turns, her mane gets lost. The shows been working to try and get other angles. But yeah, Flash is just a tool. And I appreciate that the animators of the show acknowledge that. They admit it's not the best but it's what they have and it's just a tool.
You keep trying new angles, okay. You do great work. You make a different pose work right away. Work with it, tweak it. I remember that "Wing Over" drawing you did had nice posing. It looked a little odd at first, but once you saw what you were doing with the body it was really cute.
-
Yeah, don't let the limitations of their FLASH hold you back. I still can't believe when we first met you APD, you had no art experience. Look how far you've come.
Look at many of us, also with no art experience when you had no art experience. Look what WE co7uld do if we applied ourselves as much as you. You hurricane rock, my man! You're awesome. :) Keep being daring, keep being creative.
-
I don't think APD had /no/ art experience... Right? I thought you had just never drawn ponies.
But yeah, you improved even from your first drawing to your second one! And such an upgrade in smooth line quality. I remember they used to be pixely. Now they're smooth vector lines.
-
Oh yeah! I remember that! They were pixely before. It's amazing how much you've grown since then.
-
Well, change in art software too haha. But yeah.
-
I dig the pic as a whole. Especially dat spray tho. However, I can kinda see what ya mean about the squished body and head size. We've all had those pictures, though! It turned out real good over all man!
