Well, I was talking to RainySunshine over chat the other day, and we got into a short discussion about drawing. I had some extra time over the past 2 days, and decided to (attempt) to draw something. I went on a pony creator on Deviantart, and made a pony, to get an idea of what sort of thing I wanted to draw. (One of the hardest parts for me is thinking of something to draw). I think it came out pretty good, but there were some parts I didn't get right like I wanted them to be. So, then I started drawing, and this is the finished product:

It is Delilah Design, and interior designer. (Her cutie mark is the paint strip things that interior designers use to pick colors) Hopefully, there will be more pictures to come. Feedback is appreaciated!

Pretty alright. Is this your first time?
There's something a bit off with her back leg, the butt is a bit too small I think.
And I think the cutie mark is too big, but that may be a result of the butt being too small.
Her hair shape and design is nice. Not sure if I'm liking the color choices, but I like how the hair is shaped and stuff.
-
Ooooooooooooooooo qt pi she is
-
Yeah, this is my first time. The back half of the her was definitely the hardest, and the butt and cutie mark were the things that I didn't like.
-
Keep on going if you so desire
-
Yeah, I feels ya.
The butts always the hardest for me. And the nose. I tend to make their bodies too long. Tempts me to make a new species of weiner ponies so I can draw their bodies long and not be criticized for it XD (jk though)
-
I re-did the nose about 50 times before I could get it good. Same with the butt and cutie mark. And yes, a new species of weiner ponies would be sooooooo much easier, lol ;)
-
Lol XD
Yeah, the nose is a tough shape to get. I tend to see most artists not really do the exact show style for noses, and just do their own style.
-
This is really cute, Harmony! I like her happy face, and i like her snout. The hair is also really good. Too me that looks like the most difficult part and you did a great job on her!
Reading what was said above, I actually like how you drew her nose. It is unique and different for her character.
-
How long have you been drawing, HARMONY? :D This is really good and I am impressed. Her back half is kind of blobby, but that is the hardest part with the bum and the legs. I think you did a super good job with her face and hair. I like her little mug. :) She looks great. Keep working on her. :) You will only keep getting better.
-
"Practice will never make me better!!! *runs and cries in a corner*"
-
Pretty good job, Harmony! The back leg is a bit off, but hey, it's not that bad! I'd say my only sort of "complaint" or "criticism" is the coat color, it's a bit too bright, but besides that, it looks noice!
-
Thanks, you guys! <3 I will take into account all of the constructive criticism when I draw another picture.
-
Good luck!

Very nice, Harmony! You obviously have drawn before. :) I like her. I as well like her face and that mane. The main on her head is very complex and the complexity nicely continues on her tail. Very nice work! Thumbs up!!
Despite everything I or anyone says, draw what YOU like. People will complain and moan about certain things, but as long as you do what you like, that is all that matters. Walk away happy with what you did, whether it is a design trait, quality, or even just the colors. Be happy with your work.

I like her, Harmony! So happy to see you shared something with us. I like her and I think she looks great. Good idea starting with references. :)
Is there any background to this character you created, or was it just for fun?
-
This is great, Harmony! Thank you so much for sharing! What are some of your fav things to draw? :D
-
Thanks, Grapefoot. I really only draw in Art class, but I like drawing letters and words in different ways.
-
This is cute!! With practice you can only get better. :) Thanks for sharing! Hope to see more from you.
-
Oooh, so you're into calligraphy?
-
This is really cute. I love your character and I can see you got a ton of potential! I really hope we see you draw more.
...but I like drawing letters and words in different ways.
You do fancy text writing? :)
-
Yeah, I love calligraphy, and fancy text writing. :)
-
So you don't draw often then? Shame, because I think you are really good as is, and can keep getting better! You have the potential.
-
That's cool.
I love looking at pretty handwriting and text. So much variety.
-
Incredible start here! Welcome. I like your picture. If you ever want tips let me know. You did a great start and i look forward to more posts by you.

The colors are a little bright, but the overall design looks great! Her cutie mark is really unique; I like it a lot. :)
