Title: Ah-Tchhh! (M, Happy Tree Friends)
Post by: sarahgirl on 2017-03-31 11:39:15
Make of this what you will, but I'm not actually fond of realistic-sounding sneezes. I can make characters' sneezes sound realistic (i.e. "Hutshoo", "Etshew"), but I don't do that too often, because if I go too far, it can sound kind of... disgusting? ...to me. I don't know, that's just me. Hence why I prefer to make my characters' sneezes sound like the stock "Ah-choo" (or "Hah-choo", or "Ah-chew/Hah-chew").

...But I decided to make this sneeze an exception, for a change. This will probably be the only time I draw Lumpy sneezing like this.

See, I like realistic sneezes, so to me this is inviting to be believable.  I like it.

Blocking that sneeze.  I like the sneeze spelling like this.  Adds more personality if they have a specific sneeze type.

Huh, never realized that you spelled them more "stock-ish" for lack of a better term till you pointed it out.

This is good though! And it makes sense, cuz he's covering his sneeze.
